One event, two looks. Who did it better?

Just in time for Memorial Day, Rev. Run’s daughters Vanessa and Angela Simmons had a little fun during New York’s Fleet Week (SATC fans might remember this occasion as a time to honor the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps — and scope hot men in uniform around The City!).

The girls hosted an event, “Pastry Salutes the Troops,” at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space museum and each wore attention-grabbing outfits for the occasion.

Angela looked ready for the club in a metallic corset top, liquid leggings and studded, suede knee high boots. Her wavy locks and dewy makeup look gorgeous, but that’s an…interesting look for the occasion. The younger Simmons was joined by new singer Jessica Jerrell who was more casual in camouflage shorts but added a touch of bling with a sparkly hoodie (that she could’ve thrown a shirt on under) and Pastry kicks.

OK PSA ladies: say NO to camel toe! We tease the menfolk for wearing jewel suffocating skinny jeans but wearing leggings (or shorts) that give a frontal wedgie is equally unattractive. Going up a size can help solve that problem, and if you find yourself in between sizes drop that bottom and opt for another cut!

Big sis Vanessa cut up in slashed leggings with an Army green button up and slouchier knee high boots and showed off her newer short ‘do (it’s the “Year of Shears” I tell ya!). She managed to stay trendy while wearing an outfit that’s more feasible for walking down the street. I hope she brought Aviator shades!
