Sounds of Reality: When Reality TV Stars Turn to Music

For better or for worse, reality TV has already taken over your flat-screen. But now it seems it’s got designs on your stereo as well. Ron Magro, of Jersey Shore fame, has apparently found enough time away from the tanning salon to get in the recording booth. Yesterday, he released the Auto-tune-laden single “How The F%#k We Gettin’ Home?!” and it’s about as bad as you might expect. Still, he’s far from the first reality star to get behind the mic. As seen on Love & Hip-Hop, Mama Jones, one of reality TV’s gangsta-est gangstas, recorded a diss track, “Psychotic B—h,” lashing out at her son Jim Jones’ fiancée, Chrissy Lampkin.
