Jackson Talks Perry’s Help During Grief

janetjackson_tylerperryTyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too? is in theaters this Friday.  During the press rounds yesterday, Tyler Perry and the legendary Janet Jackson spoke to Meredith Viera on The Today Show.  In the interview, Jackson says Perry was one of the first people to call her when her brother, Michael Jackson, died.  He even postponed production on the film.

In the movie, Jackson is definitely channeling some heavy emotions.  Check out the interview below and a clip from the movie.

Janet and Tyler Perry makes a beautiful couple. And as for the new movie, I am anxious to see Why Did I Get Married Too? As for Tyler Perry movies I always see it twice. Love this man work–a fan for life.

I loved WDIGM? when it came out saw it twice and have the dvd. I can’t wait to see WDIGM? Too. The cast looks great and the movie looks as if Tyler Perry will have another slam-dunk-hands down-#1-at the box office winner. I would like to say that I have ALWAYS! and WILL! always be a huge, huge (Did I say huge? lol!) Michael Jackson fan and I miss him deeply. I pray for his family (especially his children), his friends and other world wide fans. Michael’s love, spirit and legacy will live on through us and that’s a fact. Janet is doing her best to move forward as she carries Michael in her soul everyday. She looks beautiful and really happy. I wish her much much success in all her future music/film endevears.
