Robin Quivers Still Talking About Sidibe’s Weight

I thought this was a dead topic, especially considering the backlash Robin Quivers and Howard Stern received (not that they care) after mocking Gabourey Sidibe’s weight. However, Quivers is still talking and recently told Ebony, “People are being naïve when they say, ‘Oh, it’s great that she has this attitude.’ This girl is in trouble and people want to deny that. We have an epidemic of obesity in the black community, especially among Black women.”
I think everyone knows that Sidibe is overweight and I am sure the Academy Award nominee is aware of her size. What type of attitude should she have? Cry in every interview, complain she can’t control her eating, join Celebrity Fit Club — what does Quivers expect? I’d rather Sidibe have a positive attitude than be the stereotypical “tragic big girl.” Furthermore, in Sidibe’s private time we don’t know how she is bettering herself.
Quivers needs a new cause to rally for!

Its a shamed to see that it a member of the community bring down other person. she should remember that she was once over weight .i think Sidibe’s is beautiful individual inside and outside you are a wonderful actress and thats what counts so keep up the good work. you have my total support.

I really think people should not talk about others becuz dats not rite so what of how much she weigh and nobody should judge her on that becuz even though she is big she is still gone to work her stuff……………. AND IF U DONT LIKE IT TO BAD AND YOUS A HATER SO BYE……………….PERIOD!

In re: to Sidibe’s weight., I hope all of you defending her because she is happy will continue to say how happy she looks in her coffin after her heart attack or death by diabetes.
I have much respech for Gabourey. Seriously why some of u r hating what r u doing to help nothing at all. Who is Robin Quivers and how many movies u been in? Im so tired of ppl talking bout how big this young lady is when it is far more important things to be worried about like the oil spill, the war, and the economy. Get a life you low self esteem human beings. You have a problem with yourself and taking it out on others. Everybody is not a size 8. If Gabourey or anyone else has always been big or “big boned”, chances are that’s not going to change, that’s who they are, our perfect God created them that way. If you have been slim all your life and later you become huge, then that’s a problem because that’s not who you have always been. God loves us no matter how we look….unconditionally, thank God for that. Besides, when we get to heaven we will not have the same ol’ body anyway.
Why is it a problem fofr her to be happy & for other people to be happy for her. I’m sure she knows how big she is & if she dont know im sure there is some jerk-off right there to remind her besides The only judge who’s opinion that one should worry abouty is that of GOD…. if it is not of GOD it is not of good!!!
