Get Him To The Greek, which stars Russell Brand andDiddy, is available on Blu-ray and DVD. The film was a summer hit, garnering over $88 million worldwide. The DVD is packed with special features, including alternate ending, two gag reels, karaoke songs, behind the scenes, cast auditions and deleted scenes.
Also, on DVD is Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man 2, which includes director commentary and four deleted scenes.
Russell Crowe’s Robin Hood is also on DVD this week.
In a recent interview Jada’s old man said, “Puff probably lives the most like James Bond and Jamie Foxx got the swagger for James Bond. He can sing too, so he can add a new element to Bond, wooing the ladies. But I think I can guarantee the box office!”
Without a doubt, Smith can guarantee the box office. However, Idris Elba recently said he thought he should have the role because Bond is British. Honestly, I would rather see an actor on the up and coming land the Bond character versus someone who is already a massive moviestar. Traditionally, playing James Bond made someone a superstar. You gotta love Will Smith — but give the up and coming folks a chance!
Producer/rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs is set to appear in the spinoff to the comedy “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” titled “Get Him to the Greek.” Combs will star alongside Elisabeth Moss (“Mad Men”), Rose Byrne (“Knowing”), Jonah Hill and Russell Brand in the Judd Apatow-produced, Nicholas Stoller-directed film.
In the film, Combs plays the role of “Sergio,” an executive who owns a record label. Moss will play Daphne Binks, the girlfriend of Aaron Greenberg (played by Hill), while Brand plays an out-of-control rocker named Aldous Snow. Byrne will play Jackie Q, a scandal-ridden pop star and Snow’s character’s newest love interest.
I’m not sure what to think of Diddy as a comedian. However, I do know people who thought his performance in Raisin in the Sun was pure comedy!
