Taraji Will Be Getting Rough

Fresh off the success of The Karate Kid, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Taraji P. Henson landed a lead role in From the Rough:

In “From the Rough,” the Oscar-nominated “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” actor will take on a role inspired by Dr. Catana Starks, the first female head coach of an NCAA Division 1 men’s team. Gyre Entertainment is producing the sports drama, which begins filming in New Orleans in early October.

Taraji is steadily working.  The Washington, D.C. native has four upcoming films to her name: Peep World, Once Fallen, Tom Hanks-directed Larry Crown,e and The Good Doctor, which also stars Orlando Bloom.  Congrats Taraji!
