Who said 2d was dead?! Wario’s latest adventure takes players back to the old school roots of video gaming with classic 2d game play. In this adventure players control Wario as he goes out to loot and plunder the lands of it’s riches, after all every one wants that cheddar right? At your disposal of moves, you’ll be able to use the Wii remote by shaking it to cause enemies to loose the coins, pound the ground with a massive punch or use it to balance control several vehicles through out the stages. What’s also cool about this game is that it features traditional hand drawn cel animation, so the characters are big, colorful and fluidly animated. It’s like playing a cartoon. Check this out and get to lootin’!

De BLOB

Do you find your current games lacking color? Tired of all those grays and browns they seem to over use in games today? Well De Blob can help fill your colorful needs! In De Blob you play as a ball of paint who is charged with the task of saving the land from the clutches of the Evil ink army,(who’s goal is to suck the living color outta everything). Players are able to literally paint the town red, blue, orange, purple etc.While trying to avoid the Ink soldiers and their color sucking weapons. What makes this game hot is it’s visual style and music. The style is influenced by graffiti and abstract art while the music is funky jazz beats that gradually builds up as you successfully convert the cities back to its colorful glory. If your up for some good platforming fun and some color in your games, check out De Blob and get funky with it!

BROTHERS IN ARMS: HELL’S HIGHWAY

Raise your hands if your not tired of WWII shooters! Well if you aren’t, Brothers In Arms will be another good entry into the already crowded genre of shooters. In this latest version players will once again take control of Staff Sergeant Matt Baker and his crew of the 101st Airborne Division. You’ll be able to command your squad which will consists of  bazooka and machine gun teams. What sets this series apart from the rest is it’s attention to detail and engaging story. Featuring an advanced a.i.system and an all new cover mechanic similar to Rainbow 6 Vegas (which has the best cover system to date imo). Brothers in Arms Hell’s Highway looks to be another worthy trip back to WWII.

LEGO: BATMAN THE VIDEOGAME

Who…who are you?…..I’m BATMAN! da da dum daaaa. Following in the footsteps of the previous Lego games (Star Wars, Indiana Jones). Lego Batman is the latest entry in the funny light hearted Lego video games. Players will get to control Batman, Robin and a host of other heroes and villains from Gotham City. you’ll also be able to control several vehicles such as the batmobile and motorcycle. What’s also hot about this game is the soundtrack which uses the the Danny Elfman produced themes from the Tim Burton versions of the Batman films. This game also offers up some two player fun, so grab a friend (he can play as Robin..hehehe) and get ready to save Gotham once again from those demented villains from Arkhaym Asylum….I’am the night!
