Today is the first day that you can get an XBOX360 for cheap! The cheapest bundle (Arcade with no Hard Drive) now costs $199.99 a full $50 less than a Wii (If you can find one).
Microsoft does this in anticipation of attempting to win this year’s Holiday season. The other models have also dropped their prices. The XBOX360 Pro model (60 gig Haard Drive) will be $299 and the sexy Black 120 gig XBOX360 Elite is now $399.
The Elite is now the same price as the 80 gig PS3 competing directly at that price point. Although it must be noted that the PS3 includes a Blu-Ray movie player as standard, while the XBOX doesn’t have an HD movie player option.
This is probably the first of many price cut announcements as we gear up for the Holiday season.
