New 50 cent game in trouble?

You heard of that new 50 cent game Blood in the sand? Excited about it? Well don’t get your hopes up too much as this game may not see the light of day!

The company Sierra that was supposed to publish this game bought out publishing giant, Activison Blizzard. And you know what happens when buyouts are made…things get cut. And on the chopping block are several titles that Activision Blizzard felt didn’t fit within their product strategy. Those titles included Ghostbusters, 50 cent: Blood in the sand, Brutal legend and World in conflict and several others. Now the fate of some of those games mentioned (Ghostbusters, Brutal Legend) have been confirmed as being in the clear from the developers themselves and will be published by someone else. But there’s now word as to what’ll happen with Blood in the sand. I could imagine fiddy himself is mad as hell, but this should give him an idea to start up his own game company…right? We’ll keep you up to date as soon as news comes.

50 cent and the G-Unit crew is putting on a show somewhere in the Middle East. The crowd is pleased, but the promoter refuses to pay Fiddy and G-Unit. The promoter does not give them money, but a very valuable diamond encrusted skull instead. 50 and crew were about to leave the country when they are ambushed and the skull is taken from them. The game then continues with the group trying to get what’s rightfully theirs and finding out who ambushed them and why to get revenge. Each character will have their own special attributes and fighting styles, also the game will include vehicle missions such as a driver-and-turret-gunner Humvee road chase and a helicopter-borne shootout
