Ready for exciting new PS3 fans? “InFamous” is coming to PlayStation Home! Still not excited, huh? We’ll I can’t blame you. Sony’s online community service has been less than revolutionary, and I couldn’t tell you the last time I spent some time within the walls of my virtual apartment, but Sony claims it’s doing great and continues to support it with some of its biggest exclusives.

“inFamous” will now join the Home community as a post from Sony states. While very little is known, a picture of a home avatar inside Empire City is shown, with text underneath stating that Home users will soon be able to “explore the docks of Empire City” and “use their special powers in a mini-game of quick reflexes and precision aiming.” Sounds fun, right? We’ll, whatever the case, I wish Sony would find better ways to integrate Home into the games, instead of just adding a individual space for them. But I won’t complain too much. Whenever maximum boredom sets in, Home is always good for a few chuckles.

Also in PS3 news today are details on the PS3’s next big firmware update: version 3.0. The newest patch, which will apparently be a “huge overhaul” will many features that help notify players of those who are out to have a good time, and those who are out to ruin everybody else’s fun. Features like a reputation system and a grief reporting system are rumored to be included in this fall’s massive update. Looks like all you gaming bastards out their who go around spouting racists and offensive material will finally get what’s coming to you this fall on the PSN.

And speaking of racism, I’m going to go check out Micheal Bay’s newest, plot-less blockbuster – Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. It’s pretty tough to find a bigger Transformers fan than myself. I own posters, the cartoon movie, all the seasons, and a plethora of toys. So I was understandably disappointed when I heard Micheal Bay was helming the franchise. While it was awesome to see Prime and Megatron duke it out on the big screen, I still wasn’t a real big fan of the first one, and early reviews for the sequel are penning it out to be even worse… yikes. If you haven’t heard about the flak the movie is catching for its racist undertones, check out the article here. I hope I like this one, but I have a feeling Micheal Bay will ruin another Transformer movie, once again.
