What’s up people. For Black History Month, we’ve decided to cull together a list of the Top 20 Black Characters in Gaming. Counting down from 20, we’ll be hitting you with a new one each week day until we get to number 1. Let’s get to it:

#9 on TGH’z Top Black Video Game Characters list is none other than Jade from Beyond Good and Evil

Keeping with the tradition of this list and calling out the sleeper hits comes Jade, from Ubisoft’s Beyond Good and Evil. This game dropped in 2003 to little fan fare. This may have been for a few reasons. Ubisoft played up the fact the main protagonist was a photographer and that her camera would be a key feature of the game. This may have inadvertently turned off some gamers who were really getting used to the big guns of FPS games at the time.

Tom Clancy’s first introduction into the flight-sim crowd H.A.W.X (High Altitude Warfare eXperimental squadron), is looking pretty decent. I got some hands on time with the title and came away pretty impressed with the way it all handled. Read the rest of this entry »

The TrueGameHeadz crew had a chance to check out UBISOFT’s new Prince of Persia game at their 2008 NYC preview line-up event. I think it’s safe to say this game will be triple A wholesome goodness!
