Miami Dolphin’s linebacker Channing Crowder has admitted — out loud — that he didn’t know people in London spoke English. And, says he couldn’t pick London out on a map if…well, you read it. I’m just reporting.
“I couldn’t find London on a map if they didn’t have the names of the countries,” he said, according to a story on Sky News. “I swear to God. I don’t know what nothing is. I know Italy looks like a boot. I learned that.”
Crowder added: “I know (Washington Redskins linebacker) London Fletcher. We did a football camp together. So I know him…That’s the closest thing I know to London. He’s black, so I’m sure he’s not from London. I’m sure that’s a coincidental name.”
Stop it. Just stop talking now!
It’s sad that this brother didn’t know that people in London speak English, or that there are blacks in London. At least he admitted it, i’m sure their are others out there ignorant to this fact, but embarrassed to admit it.

you are a minority in this pool of ignorance. you achieved a 3.6 gpa? good for you. most black athletes “according to statistics” obtain BELOW a 3.0 gpa. also, everyone is so quick to make excuses for these dumb a!! athletes. when will THEY take responsibility for their stupidity??

I don’t see the big deal. I don’t know where London is on the map either and I just recently found out that people in London spoke English and the only reason why I took the time out to find that out is because my best friend is over there for a year! I’m a senior in college and I’m not embarrassed at all to say that I know nothing about London.
P.S. Going to college and having a high GPA does not make you smart. I have run across many ignorant people with high GPAs.
