I think that Elise Neal looks a lot like superhead … so on that perspective, yeah she’s a good “fit” for the role; their resemblance is striking. So I guess that’s always a plus when playing the role of a real person (dead or alive).

I am a big fan of Elise Neal so for that reason I would go see the movie. I can’t say that I would be interested in seeing Karrine’s life on the Big Screen though. If Elise were not playing Karrine I probably wouldn’t go see it but then again I bought and read the book so ya never know. As far as Elise being able to pull it off…OF course she can! She’s from Memphis! She’s a wonderful actress!
