Where do I begin? First, she’s very, very, very overrated. Yeah, she can sing, but so can a lot of other people. When I realized how she had to have all of the attention in the group all of the time, I was through with her then. Always had to be in the middle, always had to be the spokesperson. The group was all about her in her eyes, and I think she just used them to boost her self image. She knew damn well, she sang the best, why even come out in a group in the first place? Solo is how she needs to be, because she’s selfish as hell.

I agree with “brown skin is in”, brown skinned and darker women are treated different from light skinned women. I am a brown skinned young woman and men are very attracted to me. If it was up to me I would have a new phone number from a different man everyday. But, the men that I do choose to be friends with never fail to in some way glorify a light skinned woman in some way. I think that its really ignorant and small minded. Beauty is beauty. You either are or you are not. Skin color should not be a factor in determining beauty. Also, I think that its sad that we have such a strong superficial outlook especially since we come from a history of slavery where our people were treated worse than animals because they were dark. Some black men spend their whole lives trying to find a women that is an hour glass figure with light skin. Again, how small minded. It could be that she can’t express herself that well orally due to fear, nervousness, or the person she is communicating with is a stranger. Sometimes what comes out of your mouth is not what you really mean to say or you dont say exactly what you mean to say. I am that way. She is human, who is to say that she doesnt have that problem. Also, she has been stalked before so sometimes you cant be that outgoing with the public because we have crazies out here.
