I concur with La-La, Why do we as african-americans always seem to embrace bi-racial children? Is it because the news media portrays them as being pretier than african-americans? Most television commercials if they are going to put a diverse group in the advertisement then more than likely that child or adult will be a child of a bi-racial persuasuion. I do not agree with the way society portrays this image. It sends a confusing message to our children that they are not pretty or society-acceptable unless they are of a bi-racial parentage. Now I know this is not about diversity but about an african-american male losing his life, and that is regrettable, and it is about a child left behind without a father to rear her, but society will embrace her and we all know why..Because of her bi-racial lineage.

Lala is in “lala” land. This was not about race but about a young African-American man that stepped up to his responsibilities as a father. In today’s society it is rare to see such a loving picture of a Black man and his daughter. Love knows no color as can be seen from the lovely cute blessing the union brought to him and his girlfriend. How does being in love make someone insecure?? You must be insecure if you think that only loving someone of the same racial background gives security. Grow up!!! Stop setting the race back a hundred years!!
