I was shocked when I heard the statement on ‘Luv, Lust & Lies’ w/Michael Baisdon during my afternoon ride home. It hit hard, seeing as how she has been an inspiration for me due her career as an actress/ singer/ writer/ producer. She is and has been a positive image to imulate, not to be a ‘role-model’ as most celebs. have been labeled. What if you find out your favorite celeb. has a prison record or has commited murder in their pre-cleb. life, do you stop supporting their current works/ projects? No, most don’t. We just hope they have made it right with God, learned from the experience, and use it as a catalyst to push them to greater achievements and more inner-peace. No matter if she is a lesbian, bi-curious or straight, if you loved her before, LOVE HER STILL! If you hated her before, HATE HER STILL, but don’t let rumors be the reason you stop supporting or believing in a person. How will you react if this IS indeed a rumor? Will you staet liking her again? If that is the case, what about something you may have done (or been accused of doing), do you want people to allow that one decision/ issue to doubt their trust/ belief/ respect in you? God forbid! So, let those of us who don’t know the REAL truth not get so caught up in this one issue. Yes, I know what the Bible says, but it also says ‘love they neighbor as thyself’, and just be honest…you probably ARE NOT the best neighbor! I think that last comment was ugly. i think it was the reason why spirituality and religion have such a bad name, now. I believe and love the Lord more than i could ever even explain. and though her lifestyle may not be for me,or maybe isn’t what the bible said we are supposed to do. but at the same time, who are we to judge? who appointed any one of us to tell her or anyone on earth they are going to hell? God judges our hearts, and he knows our hearts and no one else does. so maybe you should not cast stones, because odds are, you have faults that you could go to hell for, but just because they’re not in the open doesn’t mean God doesn’t see them. Judging people is a sin, too just in case you forgot.
