Diddy never ceases to amaze. Word is, he’s miffed at People for giving his ex- J.Lo and her babes better coverage in the magazine. C’mon now.

According the NY Post, Sean Combs is said to be furious at People magazine for panning his performance in “A Raisin in the Sun” and burying the photos of his twins in the back pages. The weekly just featured Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, and her twins, Max and Emme, on the cover - and a large layout inside on them and Lopez’s hubby, Marc Anthony. “It was the last straw for Diddy. They gave him lousy placement [in the Feb. 12, 2007] issue when Kim [Porter] had his twins, D’Lila Star and Jessie James.” If People paid anything for the photos, it was a tiny fraction of the $6 million the weekly allegedly paid for the images of the J.Lo twins.

Karina Smirnoff might have two partners off the dance floor. The shapely brunette has stepped out publicly with her former dance partner, Mario Lopez, but was also recently spotted kissing her current one, R&B singer Mario, at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. “They were making out by the valet with their hands all over each other, and he was whispering in her ear,” said our source. “It was around midnight, so there weren’t many people around.” The two then got in the same car and drove off together with Mario at the wheel. Karina’s rep denied the kiss, saying she and Mario have a “professional working relationship.”

I just hate that I admitted to it and people will say on the Internet that I don’t look the same, “Oh, she is so plastic surgeried.” I don’t look like some freak. I still look like Vivica Fox. Stop it with that! I am in a business where I get paid to look good, but I’m very proud to have African-American features. I have not changed my nose! Yeah, I have experimented with it, but no, I’m not doing any more of that plastic surgery crap. I’m not the first or the only one, but I’m the idiot that admitted to it. Now everyone says, “That is her whole look.” I take care of myself.

It was only a matter of time. Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from Russell Simmons on Tuesday, reports People. The couple, who married in 1998, publicly separated a year ago.

In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.

Well, good for her. Russell helped make her a fabulous mogulette. Now she can marry Djimon and have all his babies.

Yep, another celebrity baby report. This time, it’s boxing champ Laila Ali and her husband Curtis Conway, who share their baby news in the May issue of ESSENCE magazine. Conway already has twin sons, Kelton and Cameron, 13, and a daughter Leilani, 9. This is the first baby for Ali.

“I am 100 percent undeniably happy,” Ali tells ESSENCE. “I’ve never been able to say that before.”
