Update: Alicia Keys on Gangsta Rap

Here’s Alicia Keys on the May cover of Blender mag, in which she shares her theories on the why gangsta rap created.
“‘Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. ‘Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.” She says that the rivalry between slain artists Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. was fueled “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.”
Does anyone else out there believe that?
Keys is now saying that Blender misrepresented what she said during the interview with Blender: “My comments about gangsta rap were in no way trying to suggest that the government is responsible for creating this genre of rap music,” Keys said in a statement issued by J Records.”We stand by our story,” Blender spokeswoman Kate Cafaro said Tuesday.
ALICIA IS ABSOLUTELY CORRECT, THEY(THE GOVERNMENT) KNEW THAT TUPAC HAD NOT ONLY THE WISDOM, AND THE KNOWLEGDE AND MAYBE ONE DAY THE POWER TO BE A LEADER A POWERFUL BLACK LEADER, AND HE WAS VERY EDUCATED, LIKE SHE SAID THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GANGSTER RAP, THEY ARE WANNA BE GANG MEMBERS THAT TALK ABOUT THE HARD KNOCK LIFE OF THE STREETS OR THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS, REAL GANGSTERS ARE THE AMERICAN GANGSTERS LIKE FANK LUCAS AND FRANK WHITE, TOOKIE WILLIAMS, RAYMOND WASHINGTON , PEOPLE LIKE THAT THESES RAP STARS TO DAY AIN’T NO GANGSTERS, RAP MUSIC IS AN ART OF STORYTELLING AND IT’S UP TO YOU IF YOU CONTINUE TO BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT SO CALL GANGSTER RAP AND AS WE BLACK PEOPLE SAY IT… IT’S GANGSTA RAP…..MAKE BELIEVE AND NON FICTION……..THEY DIDN’T LIKE HIS MOTHER….AND THEY FOUND THE ONE GOOD WAY TO GET BACK AT HER…..KILL HER SOON AND WHAT DID THEY BLAME ON WEST COAST& EAST COAST RIVALRY AND GANGSTER RAP MUSIC

It is not beyond the realms of impossibility. Governments are capable of a great many things. If Zimbabwe can block an election result what aren’t Governments capable of? Gangster Rap is just small surface tip of a very deep Iceberg.
Alicia Keyes is a very smart and accomplished womnan and shes the finest looking woman in show business!!!

As a white fan, we are sticking by her side no matter what. She is a remarkable person and what she said is not affecting the white race no way no how! Every ONE is has an oppinion but that is no reason to put her down because of what she might believe is the truth. If you don’t have any THING positive to say, please keep it to yourself and DROP THE RACE CARD!

I love Ms Alicia! What she is saying is so true. There is a system that is out to make sure blacks do not have a true leader who is positive and effective. When she mentioned the govt and media being the sole operators of the evil system, she was not pointing out the white race. There are blacks whites, and other colors who are apart of the govt and the media! Go Alicica!
