In an exclusive interview with E! news, Janet Jackson says if she were gay, she’d be diggin’ on Alicia.
“You’ve said it doesn’t bother you if someone says you’re gay or bisexual. So if you were, who would be your top three girl crushes?
I don’t know if I have three. I think I would pick Alicia Keys, for sure. I think she’s wonderful.”
Well, that would certainly be a step up.

LisaRaye sho couldn’t be a First Lady in America and get away with this sexy cover. Speaking of which, if her husband, Premier Michael Misick of Turks & Caicos, really did what he’s accused of doing, he’s an idiot for steppin’ out on his banger of a wife.

In his regular open letter to fans, Tyler Perry says one of his fans is getting a little crazy.
“I’m trying to be careful how I say this without inciting this person, but I have a stalker,” he writes. “This person sends several hundred emails a day to my office and has planned our wedding and bought rings and such. She has showed up at my house several times. What’s crazy is I’ve never met this woman nor have I even responded to her emails. I’ve had to increase the guards at my house as well as travel with body guards and I hate that. I hate to have big guys following me around.”
Some people will do anything to get in the biz.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are reportedly dating? No way this is true. But People mag is suggesting the two are an item after folks saw them getting closer than close at Da Brat’s 34th birthday party.
After landing by private jet, the pair headed straight to Privé Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood, where Cannon, who stars in one of Carey’s videos, was scheduled to deejay. Making their way to a VIP table, the pop diva whispered into Cannon’s ear just before he took to the turntables…He also seemed to give Carey a “secret” shout-out. Carey stood up on the back of the booth and raised her wine glass when Cannon put on Jay-Z’s “Public Service Announcement” and sang along with the lyrics, “I got the hottest chick in the game.”
Not believin’ it. Mimi has done better, and can do better than some Nick Cannon. C’mon.

In the latest episode of the Whitney-Bobby drama, the sober diva won’t sign off on the DVD release of the couple’s hit reality show “Being Bobby Brown,” basically because it made her look like a crazed crackhead. She ain’t lyin, either. But Bobby’s tryin to make some loot off the DVD sales, and needless to say, he ain’t happy with his ex-wife.
“Whitney blames the show for ruining her career and she won’t sign off on the contract to release the DVD,” Brown tells In Touch magazine. “There’s a lot of money to be made, but, because she won’t cooperate, we’ll never see it. I have a serious problem with that because it affects my income.”
Gotta side with Whitney on this one. Though, that show was funny as all get out.

Here’s Alicia Keys on the May cover of Blender mag, in which she shares her theories on the why gangsta rap created.
“‘Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. ‘Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.” She says that the rivalry between slain artists Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. was fueled “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.”
Does anyone else out there believe that?
Keys is now saying that Blender misrepresented what she said during the interview with Blender: “My comments about gangsta rap were in no way trying to suggest that the government is responsible for creating this genre of rap music,” Keys said in a statement issued by J Records.”We stand by our story,” Blender spokeswoman Kate Cafaro said Tuesday.

Crystle Stewart of Texas was crowned Miss USA 2008 on Friday night in Vegas. The 26-year-old plans to dedicate her life to international philanthropy. Let’s hope there’s no controversy over her win, like the alcoholic lush in 2006 and the clumsy one in 2007 who fell on her budunkadunk during the live show.
