Are They Over? Rep Says “Nope!”

Word is, Usher and Tameka have parted ways after just nine months of marriage. Say it isn’t so! Were all the naysayers who felt Usher, 29, got duped into marrying his 37-year-old stylist on the money? Here’s the scoop:
An insider claims that the pair actually split 3 weeks ago. Reportedly Usher is torn on whether to make “an official” statement or let the news leak. His new album is being released in less than a week, his second video hit the internet today and his album “leaked” yesterday. Timing anyone? Sources have said for months that Tameka is very controlling, doesn’t get along with Mama Usher and that this breakup was inevitable (and a sham to begin with). There’s also rumors floating around that baby Usher V is not his.
Now that’s some mess. Question is, is it true? Usher was just defending his marriage in an AP story:
“I’m a guy that decided to marry a woman — a black woman — that wasn’t perfect, that had flaws, that through all in all, she’s been successful on her own. … and that’s a bad thing. I decided to marry this woman, then I decide to be a father to my child,” he says with a laugh. “And that’s a bad thing. It’s not like I got caught with a gram of coke in my car or speeding or was caught for murder, so why would I be ridiculed, that’s why I don’t understand — that’s the part that is mind boggling. Why would I be ridiculed for that, even a year later.”
Time will tell, chickadees. Time will tell.
Update: Usher’s reps are squashing rumors he and Tameka are on the outs: “Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour,” manager Benny Medina told E! News. “This rumor is completely false.”
Yes, but are they HAPPY in Europe togther as family…Just jokes.

I prayer that Usher will do the right thing for himself. I didn’t believe in the beginning that Mrs. Thing was going to get along with Mama Usher what mother would. Usher listen to your mother she will never tell you wrong baby boy.

In a day and age where more Black babies are raised without their father in their lives (celebrities included) we should celebrate the fact that Usher and anyone else making the concious choice to stay there and be a father to his child. He could have made the choice to be as triflin’ and irresponsible as the last man that walked away. I can only respect him the more for doing what he did. At the end of the day, the choice is his…he made it. Let’s get over it and just some food for thought. It takes more than “money” to raise a child. Let’s move on people….elevate your mind.

Is it forgotten that beauty comes from within. I can imagine the pressures it is for celebrities marry for looks to keep their image up. Where is the spiritual connection? and then wonder why there are so many celebrity divorces…because it’s all superficial! Yes, I agree that Chilli & Usher had a true connection and they also looked good together. But Usher messed up and seems to have moved on from what he has learned from it. We all love Usher and want to see him happy and really do hope for the best in their marriage. I keep them in my prayers.

Well this thread had me laughing really hard, I reall never noticed how much chick ( his wife ) really does look like a man and I`m not hatin, she really don`t look like she cares what the public has to say when she really should, I think maybe her and the ex sat my friend usher up to manipalate him for his money, he deserves so much better…

Well, ol i can cei is ever since Usher got hitched the flames went off. Am still diggin him 2 beats but Tameeka jst dzn’t cut it am sorry. Usher had taste, dnt know what the hack happened 2 his taste buds. But ol am sayin is, Usher is still Usher and he aint gonna change anytym soon. Whn i saw his ‘Trading Places’ video i knew he was still there.
