K-Ci Explains JoJo’s Collapse

Rumors of K-Ci and JoJo being high and/or drunk at their concert in Australia swirled
after a video showing JoJo collapsing on stage and his bro ignoring him and continuing
to sing circulated on the Internet. K-Ci went on a radio station to tell the real
story.

“People try to say we’re on drugs,”
K-Ci said on Hot 97 in New York yesterday. “….Ain’t nobody on
drugs. Wasn’t nobody intoxicated. Wasn’t nothing like that. Wasn’t
nobody drunk on stage. We don’t do that.”

“My brother JoJo is epileptic. He has seizures.”

K-Ci said it was JoJo’s epilepsy combined with fatigue from the long flight
to Australia then having to go directly onstage that made his brother collapse.

“He literally passed out.”

Although K-Ci said he “got scared,” he certainly didn’t show it
as he continued to prance around the stage with a microphone. A security guard walked
over to a sprawled out JoJo and took the mic that had landed a few feet away. He
showed no concern either.

Were it not for computers, most folks never would have seen the crazy scene.

“I hate Bill Gates for inventing the computer or whatever it’s called,”
K-Ci said. “I don’t even mess with it.”
