Lil’ Kim Sued For $2 Million By Label

Don’t expect to hear any new Lil’ Kim tracks anytime soon.
The rapper is being sued by her record label, Brookland Media, for $2 million.
According to the New York Daily News, Lil Kim hasn’t delivered the tracks that she promised after the record label had spent thousands on record equipment.
The suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, also accuses the feisty rap diva of making “outlandish” demands to have hip-hop stars Wyclef Jean and Akon added as producers for her album. “[Brookland] rejected these outlandish post-contract demands,” the complaint says. The suit says Lil’ Kim is “known in the music industry for her extravagant and costly excesses.”
