Jennifer Hudson’s Mother And Brother Killed

Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot and killed inside her mother’s home this afternoon in Chicago according to WLS-TV.
A representative of the family’s church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, confirms that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson was one of the victims.
The second male victim is reportedly Hudson’s brother, Jason.
According to CBS 2 Chicago, police were searching for a man and 7-year-old boy. The man is known as William Balfour has braids in his hair, and could be driving a 1994 white Chevy with the license plate X584859, according to police. Balfour is married to Jennifer Hudson’s sister, Julia. Records show that Balfour has listed Hudson’s mother’s address as a place of residence within the last year and is currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder.
The boy, identified as Julian King, Hudson’s nephew, was wearing a tan jersey with the number 5 on it and tan slacks.

The suspect, William Balfour, has been taken into custody. Hudson’s nephew, 7-year-old Julian King is still missing, according to WFLD-Chicago. Balfour is refusing to cooperate with cops or supply info.

Jennifer, I too have encountered an enormous tragedy. It was similar to this one and I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that truly feel your pain. The coward who took my mother’s life wound up taking his own right afterwards. I pray that justice is served, although you’ll never fully heal from all three of your losses. There is nothing i can say that will come close to making you fill better. But I am truly sorry for you loss. Some times we go through some pretty hard hurdles in life but i pray that is the last one you will every see. But God Bless you and everything will get better in time.
My prayers and thoughts are with you. To lose a mother is something that we never get used to only learn to live without her. Pray daily and trust in God he is the only one who can see you through.

My heart goes out to this family. how can that man do that. i cant see how u can lose a mother, brother, and a nephew(son) in the same day that is bad. Jennifer I know your pain to have someone that you love so much murdered by someone who if they didnt like them just could have went on about thier life but instead they took it upon themselves to take something they can never give back and leave families devastated and heart broken. Although it was a tragedy, remember that we all have that reservation without the priviledge of cancellation. and its not up to us how we leave here the only thing we can guarantee is when we do go we go in the name of JESUS. and I know that your mother, brother and newphew went in JESUS name and GOD got the glory for they were followers of CHRIST and will not perish, for He is faithful and true to his word as it is written.
