BET.com learned today that Mediatakeout.com’s story that NBA great Michael Jordan is planning to get married again is false.
Yesterday, Mediatakeout.com reported that the ex-Chicago Bulls star and Cuban model Yvette Prietro plan to jump the broom as early as next week. The story was picked up by several other blogs and Web sites. But on a phone call with BET.com today, Jordan spokeswoman Estee Portnoy stressed that “there is absolutely no truth to the rumors of Michael Jordan getting married.” She also expressed disappointment that nobody called her office to fact-check the story.
BET.com’s blog, Entertainment Spotlight, quoted the Media Takeout story.
