Will Beyonce Perform To Empty Crowds?

Beyonce has recently started what’s being reported as essentially a paid rehearsal for her upcoming international “I Am…Sasha Fierce” tour in Canada. But, when performed her first date in Edmonton she only attracted a crowd of 8,000. By contrast, Britney Spears’ upcoming tour stop has sold far more seats.
And now, Beyonce is apparently selling tickets anywhere from $125.00 to $25.00 for additional dates in the country. Is this a sign for the future of the tour? Will audiences be telling Beyonce, “I Am…Broke?”
I’m inclined to think no matter folks will go see Queen Bey dip it, pop it, twirk it, stop it, but could the recession have people opt to watch The Beyonce Experience DVD for the millionth time instead of paying to see the real thing?
Don’t worry Bey, I’ll be there to support ya!!

Yes, Beyonce just did these five dates to prepare for European Tour that starts April 26th. Her first date in Croatia sold out for an arena crowd of 21,000. Her UK dates have sold out too! She’s doing already sold out 3 shows at the O2 Arena for a crowd of 20,000 and is on the fourth date now. She sold out 5 dates in Ireland! Just to name a few! Beyonce’s 81K on Forbes will be nothing compared to what she will rack in after this tour!
