Looks like the bad news just keeps coming for your boy Scott Storch.
He appeared in court last week to plead innocent, but he’s up on some serious Grand Theft Auto Charges, and we ain’t talking about the game. Allegedly, the hip-hop producer leased a Bentley but never returned it after the expiration date. How long did it take the auto company to find the car? Seven months.
His lawyers released a statement: “We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge,” it reads. “There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client.”
But what’s up with writing/rapping/singing about what you know, homie?
Storch has some mad debt that includes failed property tax payments on his $10.5 million mansion and arrest warrants for several failed appearances in the child-support cases of his two sons. He used to get a good Storch’s $100,000 per beat. Now, the embattled star has not been able to crack the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100 since 2005 and has retreated into hiding.
