I don’t know why celebrities bother deleting their tweets. By the time you hit that delete button chances are 80 people have already screencapped whatever it is you said and have started passing it around like a blunt on Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus.
So, when you have a million followers and all of your fans are like 17 and typ3 lyk3 th!$, you already know they’re gonna be up on game and spread the news.
Such is the case for Soulja Boy, who seems to have a case of the “woe is me, I’m rich and famous” foot in mouth disease.

To his credit, he is only 18 and I imagine that sort of sudden fame and wealth is overwhelming. Not to mention quickly recording a follow-up album.
However, as I’m still in the process of making my first million, my sympathy levels aren’t shooting [that] high. If he has enough sense to make a fortune off of an album he created on his PC, he can figure out how to deal with this.
He better call some of his kinfolk and take a quick vacation.
Um, this is beyond outrageous. He is human, everyone is entitled to stress and vent. Let him be, I can’t understand why people make something so small into something so big. He’s a guy, which means he probably been holding that inside for a while. Give him a break. We are all human, no one is perfect.

i understand where souljaboy is cominq from thouqh.cus he is so younq &N’d i can only imaqine how hard all of the spotliqht &N’d hatersz is for him. Im one of his biggest fans . Maybe his punk ass realized that he wasn’t really talented and that people can see bullsh*t when they hear it. Hopefully he and these other 1 hit wonders will go away, never to be heard from again. I can’t say that I’m sad for him. He has about 30 seconds left of his 15 minutes of fame.

i remember seein him tweet [the 1st part] on twitter;;i was in shock but i kno the life of a millionaire celeb can be tough[seein wut other celebs tlk about on tv];;well i been a fan of his ever since he made the songs “i got me some bathing apes”,”Crank dat dance” & “shootout” i was dancin in my livin room to those two[still got em on my ipod]..and him n his friends makin random videos on youtube him..they crack’ed me up..lol and now that he’s famous,the recording angencies try to change up his songs and make them look wack..thats pretty f**ked up
well i’ll 4ever be a fan of his,n i’ll be down to ride 4 him evn tho he has no clue tht i exist or whateva but anywho i say f**k da media and the ppl that try to bring him down,jus let him be him……

Black people, black people, always ready to be the ultimate critic. The young man is upset not because he is famous but because he can’t rap what he wants to rap. The money is not the end all for everyone, maybe soulja boy wants the music he feels to get out there but of course the people around him want him to keep the image they want him to have because its all about the mighty dollar. We are not in that industry so we don’t know the pressure that these people face…I am sure it is very frustrating but I think like many others, they go in with a different attitude and then reality hits them and its like….wow, is this what its all about. The man is reaching out because he is upset and most likely feels like there is nothing he can do about the situation. The money and fame is great but at what cost. I think we need to understand what he is feeling and really…..would you really want to be in his shoes???? After a while all that sh…t becomes tiresome.

MAN stop worryin about what people are saying!! I know it’s hard seeing that you’ve never been through anything like this before, but even the biggest of stars have critics and are still on top of their world doing their thing. You will have people that dislike you and talk trash about what you’re doing in the type of business that you’re in but you have to try and overlook the negativity. YOU HAVE HITS!! What more is there to say?? You can’t please everyone. You’re younger and you’re music appeals to people your age (and even older) People have to understand that times are changing along with the different styles of music. YOU JUST KEEP DOING YOU. I like your songs and will continue to support you. Just stay prayed up and continue with the same effort that has gotten you this far!-msneek
