After a two-year hiatus, the Soul Train Awards will return to the BET-launched channel Centric TV on November 29. In the meantime, we’ve got a few exclusive photos of the event which was taped last night in Atlanta, Georgia at the Georgia World Congress Center. There’s much more action to come: Beyonce, Maxwell and Keri Hilson lead the nominations for the awards, hosted by Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Performers like Trey Songz, Chrisette Michelle, Erykah Badu and Brian McKnight, among others will take the stage. Keep your dancing shoes on deck and be sure to tune in to watch later this month. Love, Peace and Soul!

Will it bring back the original ST trophy?
BET why don’t you do a show on honoring the female singers of yesterday and today, BET awards, were great this pass summer, but you know, where were the women from that time that you show cased? Why not show case some of the forgotten ones, Angela Bofill, Linda Jones, Vesta, Miki Howard, these ladies could sing, let some of the the new one see that they have big shoes to fill. There are a big group of people who miss the power voice singers, the real R&B singer seems to have gone. If it were not for Maxwell, I think no one would have notice how much we have missed real R&B.
Thank you
