Unless Rihanna is an academy award actress, she sold me. I felt a woman that loved and had to make a hard decision to leave an abusive relationship while being tugged by good and evil. One is saying, listen he is sincere he loves you and want you back and the other saying you know better it is never going to be the same no matter what-walk. Unless you have been there you cannot know how it feels. One good thing is that if she is like most women, this is a lesson that she will never forget and once she is over it-it will never happen again because she will see the warning signs before its too late. I just hope it doesn’t harden her heart completely, just enough to see the warning signs because no matter how smart or smooth a guy is the signs will be there early, very early.

I love Chris Brown’s work, singing and acting. However, let someone bash your face in and say I love you and if you think that’s cute you’re sick. It hurts physically and mentally and even more so if you love the fool. Once you heal and you think about it, you fight back the only way you know how. Its already been proven that she can’t stand toe to toe with him with her fists but there are other ways to skin a cat. He brought it on himself. He is a man and a man is suppose to be so strong so he should have just let her out on the side of the road and left her there-walk away. Any man can beat up a woman. A real man don’t need to.

@MsMillie..I feel you that Rihanna made a tough decision and good for her because you do have to say “Eff Love” and take care of yourself.
However I have worked in DV shelter for 5 years and I have seen woman who have repeated the cycle of abuse with different guys, especially if the woman did not get THERAPY. Understand some batterers will wait YEARS before displaying certain behaviors in the sense they let you get comfortable then they strike.

I hope someone in her camp has encouraged her to get therapy. Also I hope her brothers are getting therapy for the DV they saw as well. Chris, just like Rihanna, saw DV in his household and in almost all his interviews he referenced never ever wanting to repeat that behavior…but good intentions without a true plan of action did not cut it this time.

There’s always two sides to every story. Unfortunately, the society we live in today loves to take everything and run with it.

For all the ignornat people out there who are hating Rihannah just coz they like Chris and think the guy’s cute… if there’s two sides to this ’story’ then why was Chris charged for assault and not Rihanna as well?

So what she’s a girl. Physical assault is physical assault. I’ve seen men beat up by women plenty on times! They both need to grow the hell up…..And Jay-Z should have been a leader in this thing instead of trying to ruin Chris’ career. People look up to him. What Chris Brown did was totally uncalled for and I am like a huge fan of his. However, I do believe that there is more to the story that is not being sad is Chris is keeping it private which he has right to do. But on the note of Rihanna’s career was leaps and bounds over Chris’s before they met is not true. Chris Brown’s first album hit big, Rihanna had to change her whole image in order for people to notice her. She had to lose her whole identity for her album Good Girl Gone Bad to sell because the first one didn’t go anywhere. In the end they both need some serious growing up to do and they way she has been acting lately she seems to need alot more growing up than Chris.
