Fantasia Speaks On Her Ex & Her Dad

In her cover story with Upscale magazine, Fantasia Barrino touched on what caused the break-up between she and Young Dro and why she has to break away from her last name.
On Dro:
“I could not deal with the women. It was a problem. A big problem. I am only 25 years old, but I am too old for that. “
On her dad:
“ I only go by Fantasia, and not Barrino. [He] wanted his last name. He felt like I portrayed him like a bad person in the movie even though I really made him look like an angel. Oh the irony if that Young Dro snippet….”
With respect to Fantasia, isn’t she rumored to be with a married man she met at T-Mobile? A man she claimed to not know, but was spotted with at the shoot for this cover story?
Maybe the situation is different, but just on the surface her comments seem pretty ironic.

Fantasia, sometimes in life we get dealt a horrible hand and we dont know why, but for whatever reason we handle it to the best of our abilities. You have a gift that is out of this world, your VOICE (you are outgoing,also). I love your R&B music BUT, when you sing the GOSPEL, you really minister to my soul. I mean I really be going through and when I listen your Gospel work it uplifts me. So my question to you is when are you going to stop running from what GOD has blessed you to do so beautifully? I am proud that you used your surgery as a testimony and gave God all of glory for bringing you through, sadly alot of young people dont do that, that might be your calling….In whatever you choose to do Be Blessed my sister!
We deal with so much stress in our lives, I have dealt with stress and still dealing with it. Family looking for you to do everything and dealing with a person in a relationship you believe want the same things in life that you want, but it’s not true. Some men feel they do not have to be loyal to the woman in their lives, because you have some females whom just want a good time and that’s it. There are men who are devoted to their significant others, I will never take that away. You have to take time out for you, because if you don’t, you will jump into a relationship that’s not for you.
