Alicia Keys Responds To The Rumors…Kinda

Ever since Mashonda put Alicia Keys on full blast for taking the “Boom, I Got Your Boyfriend” approach to love and snatching away her soon-to-be (but not quite yet, if I’m not mistaken) husband, Swizz Beats, many people have been giving Alicia shade.
It doesn’t help that Mashonda constantly brings up Swizz’ infidelity with Ms. Keys every other tweet.
Alicia, however, has yet to discuss any of the drama head on.
In an interview with Upscale magazine, she references the rumors, but doesn’t respond to them directly.
When asked about snatching someone else’s man, Alicia said:
“I felt I had to speak out about things and clear my name. But as time went on I realized it was a waste of energy. I think it’s better to just keep things moving. People will take [your business] and run with it in whichever direction they choose.”
It’s responses such as these that keep people talking.
Is it time for Alicia to release her own version of “Woman to Woman,” or at the very least, remake MoKenStef’s “He’s Mine”?
Or is it best to let her business stay just that (although it means we’ll only hear Mashonda’s perspective)? I’m almost certain Mashonda has demoed both tracks by now, it would start something like, “Hello? May I speak to Alicia? Alicia, this is Mashonda… ” okay, maybe that is a lil’ too old school for most of you!

Am I the only one that remembered how swizz beats potrayed himself like he was so in love with his wife and even eve christen the babt, Mashonda said they been messing around and alicia suprised that she caught swift. they are still legally married. one thing to mess around after they are divorced alicia keys was messingaround with him while he was still livingwih mashonda. if u ask me he left his dark wife for some pasty looking bytch just like him. alicia keys want to front with this woman needs unity bull shyt. and that tired azz superwoman. i think her album is going to flop. everyone see what a fake bytch she is. so i guess she left her boyfriend who produced all her hits crucuial keys for swizz. what goes around comes around,. with her fat ass.
I don’t have anymore respect for Alicia Keys. If they were dating and she stepped in would be one thing, but damn he was married. Ya know Steve Harvey said it himself in the book he wrote. The reason there are married men who cheat is because there are women out there that will accept a cheating man.
Wow! How easy is it for someone sitting on the outside to know whats going on in the inside? Impossible huh? To be perfectly honest, the wife needs to call it a wrap and move on. As for as A.K., why should she air her business? Remember, an empty wagon makes the loudiest noise. So, perhaps Mashonda needs to regroup and enjoy her life, you think? As far as A.K. being fat, come on now. Think outside the box.

If he left its because he wanted her and not you….. so attacking Alicia shows your stupidity and ignorance further supporting why Swiss no longer wants you. Grow up, let go and move on.. I am not mad at Alicia simply because its not as if she and Mashonda were “close friends” or something, its just one of those situations where Swiss had a change of mind/heart. Move on Mashonda. & if Alicia did manipulate the situation in anyway, what goes around comes around…. I will agree with Alicia again, she needs to spend no time defending her self regarding this drama… but she surely needs to focus on this new album she has coming out. The first single, not one of her best. But much love to her… She is beautiful and a star. Adore.

It’s all about tact a woman who states she wants to empower other women wouldn’t go this route. It doesn’t make a difference if he was unhappy at home or his wife wasn’t taking care of him, they made vows before god himself to foresake all others. Alicia being in her position should have waited until the paperwork was signed and it was completely over. And then again i see the comments from the other dumb ppl. Chasing after a man who would do this to another woman what do you think is in store for you. What happened to grandma and grandpa love wanting to live and die together with your soulmate….but then again look at the generation thats in charge now!!!!!! I feel so sorry for the world
I see everybody attacking Alicia & Mashonda, but the truth of the matter is Swiss is the one to blame. Those women were not friends so there was no betrayal there. A woman can only go by what the man says, & maybe from Swiss actions it seemed like he was single & obviously not happy. Mashonda is wasting good energy attacking Alicia when she should be going upside Swiss head with the golf club (Tiger Woods moment).
We all are guilty @ one point in our lives for believing what men say, only to find out it was all bullsh^&!!! Cut Alicia some slack & dig into Swiss a&&.

I think Mashonda needs to let it go. Putting Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys out there won’t make her get him back, and it only makes her look petty.It’s the entertainment industry she knew what she was signing up for before they started seeing each other. I love Alicia Keys just because these people are celebs why are things being looked at so differently. They still breathe the same air as we do. They still have dysfunctions as we do. No one is perfect. Being with a married man yes it is a mistake however it is not Alicia’s fault that he had a failed marriage. People that step out of their marriages and seek other things its because they are already unhappy, bored or whatever with the relationship. Mashonda is cute but Alicia is very talented and hot. Everyone is quick to judge the “girlfriend” by calling her a home wrecker well what part does swizz beats play in this. He is the guily one he is the one who made the decision to disrespect his wife. I doubt Alicia called him up one day and said “whats up swizz do you want to be with me”. Give me a Fckn break people wake up. Yes she should of told him that he needed to wait until his divorce but the fact of the matter is she didnt it was him that should of pursued the divorce prior to him engaging in a relationship with keys. I feel like this: If she is dating swizz thats her business (okayy)…….and if she isnt than she isnt…..rumors are gonna be rumors and people only believe what they wanna believe anyway…….so it shouldn’t be a big fuss…..but far most of all if the man wasnt there to take, then alicia didnt take him…the way i see it he was already gone…so therefore he wasnt wit that other women…ya know?
Wasn’t Alicia the one preaching SELF WORTH…It doesn’t matter what his wife was or was not doing. What matters is you should respect yourself. He is/was married. I don’t care what he told her. People especially women have enough respect for yourself. Get your own man. Men can’t cheat without a willing participant. Mashonda the wife should say whatever she feels, she was the one who was betrayed, disrespected and shamed. How dare you let Alicia keys or Swizz of the hook for that matter. Not only is the wife hurt, but now we have another single parent and father not in the home. Cheating effects the whole family. I hope they both sleep well at night. I agree with Cherease. Also Swizz is just as equally wrong he should have tied up his loose ends before he started a new relationship.

You know, for every woman that praised A. Keys for her actions, is one of those women that don’t mind being with a cheater. They’re both wrong and they do owe Mashonda a explanation, not the media. Swiss was being less of a man for sneaking off and I’m disappointed in A. Keys because you stress the good woman theme, but, you’re worse than the jack of all trades. At least we knew jack has all trades. I really can’t respect someone who is giving me a false image. Alicia Keys? Is it worth losing the spark behind your music?
