50 Cent No Quiere Taco Bell

Don’t mess with 50 Cent. The rapper made good on his threat and filed a lawsuit against Taco Bell for messing with his name.
The lawsuit says the fast-food chain diluted “the value” of his good name and used a campaign to make people think he endorsed the brand. And this was without’s Fiddy’s approval!
“Without seeking or obtaining Jackson’s authorization, defendant Taco Bell made him the star and focus of its nation-wide advertising campaign by using his name, persona and trademark to promote Taco Bell’s business and products,” court papers said.
And get this: the company tried to get around paying him his usual fee to use his name by getting him to change his name to “79 Cent,” “89 Cent” or “99 Cent” to promote its “79-89-99 Cent Why Pay More” campaign.
A Taco Bell Corp spokesman said: “We made a good faith, charitable offer to 50 Cent to change his name to either 79, 89, or 99 Cent for one day by rapping his order at a Taco Bell, and we would have been very pleased to make the $10,000 donation to the charity of his choice.”
But Fiddy’s side said the Taco Bell letter was eventually sent to the rapper, but only after it had been circulated to reporters.
Guess we know where 50 Cent won’t get his tacos.

Wait A Minute How 50 Gone Be Gangsta And File A Lawsuit. It Doesn’t Matter If It Was Taco Bell. He Claims To Be A “G” , But A Real “G” Wouldn’t Take It To The Law Side Of Handling Things. A Real G Would Have Went Straight To Taco Bell Head Quarters (if there is a such place) And Asked Them “Straight Up”. About The Situation.
