Star is trying to make a comeback? So typical. After she lived the high life on The View and married that masculine-wannabe and trying to extort tons of gifts for her wedding, she now wants us to believe that she’s had a change of heart. Her 15 minutes of fame are up and I’ll believe it when I see it!

I never really liked Star Jones and then she got on my nerves a bit when she was about to get married. However, regardless of who she married (thats her problem) and the fact that she looks weird to me now, I hope that it works out for her. I mean really, R. Kelly upset me when he pee’d on that little girl and he will pay for it soon but damnit his album is hot! So, if I can get over the peeing long enough to enjoy the album then yes I can give Star Jones another chance!

I wish Star much success with her new venture. When life throws you a curve (fired from the View), the A-list players still find a ways to hit home runs. Star had self esteem and self image problems. She’s worked on those issus and is trying to be a better person. She’s telling the truth about her weight loss. Sometimes you have to come down to climb up again. Yes a Star can be re-born in America.

I just saw the Star Jones show and I actually liked it. It’s funny becuase I am NOT a fan of Star Jones, but I think this show format works for her. If she’s interviewing someone or discussing something I want to know a little more about I’ll probably watch the show again.

I heard the announcement on the radio and she said something like “I tell the truth”. Well @amn woman had you told the truth in the first place you wouldn’t be in this situation anyway. Hell we all know Judges and lawyers lie. You know what? Why is her FACE bigger than her body? She look like Oprah did when she lost all that blubber. @ammit, She has a Swell head, Tyra is a space alien, Oprah is God and Gail is Jesus.

I thought that Star was sincere in her comments on the Steve Harvey show and thought that her show did have some good content. I especially enjoyed the panel session in the begining. I’ll definitely support and watch her show. She is happy with her weight loss and how she looks, and happy with her man. Who are we to judge.

BET…Ya’ll know ya’ll wrong for airbrushing this picture. In reality, her head cannot possibly be this big. Did she really lose that much weight? I guess I have to check out the show to see if this is the real her. I guess she can have a comeback. It’s Hollywood. It makes for good television and ratings.

I really like Star Jones,she endured a lot on the View behind the scenes but she always came out and was very profesional. Any one can see that she was her own person and spoke her mind and Barbara Walters could not control her like she does evero on else on that show,so it was to make her look bad and try to turn the public against her. I wish her much success and will definitely watch her,why make a big deal about her wedding she only did what all of the others do,and they are not criticized,maybe because of her skin color(U Think) she deserves a chance ,what about Downey Jr, he had what quiet a few arrest and drug problem but every one wa sympathetic toward him why. Star deserves nothing less,in fact better,she’s only human,but has learned from whatever mistakes were made and now wants to move on and move up,i say keep going Star U are a genuine person,don’t let anyone bring you down.

She is looking completely different, to me she looked better with a little fatt on her, she lose weight by DAM, it was a lot.

Forgive me, but Star looks malnourished. I don’t have anything against anyone wanting to lose weight (kudos to anyone who desires to), but don’t lose it so quickly until you are looking sickly and become ill (not saying she is ill), but I just think she lost it too quickly.

I dont think a group of white women were the right thing for Star anyway. So Star startover this time your on your own. Show the world you can be great. If you fail there is no one to blame but you. I hope you’ll do fine. We need more like you. Just change a bit and dont try to be so dang sneaky!

I have yet to watch her show but I hope its a hit. Plus, with her celebrity lifestyle she needs to have a steady paycheck coming in. I honestly think her husband might kick her to the curb if she doesn’t. Nevertheless, I wish her luck and I will add her show to my DVR list and give it a chance!

Im glad that she lost the weight though, I just wish she hadnt lied about it, the view couldve and wouldve flipped that and made serious ratings instead the weight loss was her demise. I think she is too skinny but I love her new look. Star good luck!

Yeah she can make a comeback!! Hello if Flavor Flav can make a comeback anything is possible. Look at this crack head, he is a mega star now. Bigger than he ever was before. So yes, Star Jones has a chance. But I think she needs to put some weight on. She could pass for Flav in drag and those glasses aren’t making her look any smarter. If you have been large all your life, don’t lose too much weight, it only makes you look sick. Was it supposed to be a big secret how she lost the weight? I thought everybody knew she had gastric bypass surgery. Like anybody believed you dropped all that weight by herself….As Lil’ Boosie would say…..”yeah right! I have never been too crazy about Star Jones until she left “The View”…I will admit that her new show is excellent and I think people are going to leave The View and come watch her show…She tackles everyday topics and she talks about african american issues and includes people of color to discuss the topics of the day…All I have to say is..Thank You Star for not forgetting about your people..and not sugarcoating certain issues

I think Star felt the pressure of Hollywood to have surgey to lose some pounds. Personally, I think that she was a pretty woman when she was big, and now that she has lost the wieght she looks like she is sick. Maybe she should have hung around with Monique and learned to love all of herself. Also, she should have saw herself as a PHAT woman , instead of a Fat woman I wish her the best, but I think she should know that her husband is Gay or Bisexual. Just my opinion!

I am very pride of Star Jones, for standing up for herself and taking the criticisms from alot of people. I am sure she got chance to see who were her true friends in Hollywood. Oh! I forgot she found out that Babara Walters won’t a true friend at all. But you know sometimes you have to go down before you come up. She is up now and I am pride of this sister.
And for as her husband that we talk about all the time, I hope that he is good to her and she is good to him and they be each other support, when it seems as if the world is against them.

She realized after her departure from The View that along with fame, egotripps, and self-absordness comes emptiness and lonliness. Hollywood can swallow you whole if you allow it to!
