In an exclusive interview with E! news, Janet Jackson says if she were gay, she’d be diggin’ on Alicia.
“You’ve said it doesn’t bother you if someone says you’re gay or bisexual. So if you were, who would be your top three girl crushes?
I don’t know if I have three. I think I would pick Alicia Keys, for sure. I think she’s wonderful.”
Well, that would certainly be a step up.

Here’s Alicia Keys on the May cover of Blender mag, in which she shares her theories on the why gangsta rap created.
“‘Gangsta rap’ was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other. ‘Gangsta rap’ didn’t exist.” She says that the rivalry between slain artists Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. was fueled “by the government and the media, to stop another great black leader from existing.”
Does anyone else out there believe that?
Keys is now saying that Blender misrepresented what she said during the interview with Blender: “My comments about gangsta rap were in no way trying to suggest that the government is responsible for creating this genre of rap music,” Keys said in a statement issued by J Records.”We stand by our story,” Blender spokeswoman Kate Cafaro said Tuesday.

Yo, who else watched BET Honors on Friday night? Did you get that “I’m So Happy to Be Black” feeling, too? I was especially proud of Alicia Keys who can do no wrong right now, can she? Between her newfound flyness, her work in Africa, a BET Honors Award, an Image Award, yada, yada, yada, sis is on a roll. I actually might cop her album now. Go Li-Li!
