Say it isn’t so. WBLS shock jock Wendy Williams allegedly gets a regular beat down by her husband, Kevin Hunter, at the station? That’s according to the DJ’s talent booker, Nicole Spence, who claims this same dude sexually harrassed her. She filed a complaint yesterday with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Williams and Inner City Broadcasting.
From the NY Post: Spence, 27, claims in the complaint that her boss’ husband, Kevin Hunter, 33, demanded sex from her more than a dozen times and created a hostile work environment by repeatedly beating up Williams, 43, in and near the studio.
“Mr. Hunter repeatedly sexually propositioned me at work in the most crude and vulgar ways, telling me over and over that he wanted to ‘f- - -’ me,” Spence charges…In one instance, Mr. Hunter stormed into the studio, demanded that other employees leave and openly physically abused Ms. Williams, pinning her against the wall with his hand around her neck, choking her while repeatedly pounding his fist into the wall directly by her head.” Through her lawyer, Ken Thompson, Spence yesterday declined to comment. Williams and Hunter deny it all.
Let us find out Wendy is all mighty mouth behind the mic, but then let’s her husband whip up on her at home. If she’s lying and he IS abusing her, that’s just despicable.

At the risk of beating a dead horse, it’s hard not to think about Frenchie Davis in light of “American Idol’s” decision to keep David Hernandez, a former male stripper who’s competing this year. Less than six months ago, dude was gyrating and performing lap dances for a mostly male audience, sources say. But in 2003, Davis was booted for posing in lingerie on an adult web site. Interesting.
What boggles the mind even more is the following quote from an executive producer on the show about Hernandez:
“The truth is we’re never judgmental about what people do to earn a living. They’ve gotta put food in people’s mouths,” said Ken Warwick to TVGuide.com. “If it were some sort of heavy porn, then maybe we’d have to take action. But certainly not on this.”
Never judgemental????

Seems Tracey Edmonds a bit miffed at Johnny Gill for telling the media what really happened at her spiritual ceremony with Eddie Murphy while clearing up rumors he’s on the DL.
Her official statement: ”I was very shocked and disappointed to hear of Johnny Gill’s false spin on the chain of events surrounding our wedding. His outrageous lies were clearly a very desperate and pathetic attempt to clean up his reputation at my expense. I would appreciate it if Mr. Gill would refrain from continuing to spread false gossip and lies to the public, and allow everyone involved to move on with their lives. We all know the real truth.”
Translation: “You know, I know and Eddie definitely knows that you’re gay. Stop talkin’ all that bullshiggedy.”

Black people! Just in case you didn’t get the memo, that TV bounty hunter guy who embraced our community so much he felt at ease using the N-word is back on the tube. The A&E network suspended “Dog the Bounty Hunter” after the star was heard throwing N-bombs and demanded that his son break-up with his African-American girlfriend. Well, he said he’s sorry, and apparently A&E feels like he’s made enough amends with the Black folk. OR, they miss making all that damn money.
