Sources say Halle and her baby daddy Gabriel are on the way to the altar.

“Gabriel felt the time was right to propose. He gave her the family heirloom because he wanted to show her how much she means to him, and how she will be accepted into the Aubry family,” a source close to the couple said. “The ring belonged to Gabriel’s grandmother – it was her engagement ring.”

But PEOPLE is reporting a different story, saying Halle bought the ring for herself.

So if she is in fact engaged, we guess that whole “no marriage” oath of her’s is out the window. Well, at least she dated the man for more than six weeks — Mariah! More power…

According to People: Berry, 41, works out for 60 minutes, five days a week with trainer Ramona Brazaga (whose other clients, according to her Web site, include Jessica Biel and Anne Hathaway). Their sessions include three cardio segments – on the elliptical, as well as kickboxing and then a stairs or hill climb – then also does a strength-training routine that include abdominal work and leg exercises. In terms of diet, Berry is eating lots of vegetables, lean proteins and complex carbohydrates, as well as drinking a large quantity of water.

We know it won’t take long for her to slim down — it never does in Hollywood. Pudgy or not, Halle looks good.

Who said it was Clara? Disregard that untruth. Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have named their baby daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, reports People.com.

Nahla means honeybee in Arabic, says Michael D. Cooperson, associate professor of Arabic at UCLA. Berry, 41, tells Access Hollywood, “We didn’t have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital…For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her,” Berry adds.

Halle Berry and French-Canadian boyfriend Gabriel Aubry welcomed a 7 lb., 4 0z. baby girl into the world on Sunday at 10 a.m in L.A. The 41-year-old actress is reportedly still recovering in the hospital but doing well. Sources say the Oscar winner gave birth in a private birthing suite at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A., so the baby wasn’t on display for curious eyes. The baby’s name has yet to be released, but one source — according to PageSix.com — claims she will be called Clara Stella Berry-Aubry.

The couple met on a Versace photo shoot in 2005. If it’s up to the twice-divorced Halle, the two won’t be getting married, since she’s publicly expressed that she won’t jump the broom ever again. But we’ll see…

“It is true that I am three times the girl I usually am. I have to say there are some really wonderful things that come along with that.  It’s the first time I’ve been to an awards show where they served a meal and I actually ate it – the whole thing. I was eating off everybody else’s plate and that felt very liberating and good,” the 41-year-old expectant mom told an audience at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Mama Halle Berry has issued an apology for a Jewish joke she made on Jay Leno the other night. She’d used a computer program to make goofy, distorted pictures of herself (which were hilarious, by the way). While showing one with a big nose, she referred to herself as looking like her ”Jewish cousin.” Realizing how it might have been offensive, she had Leno edit it out of the program. I don’t see what the big deal is, really. Maybe some Jewish people have large noses? And some Black people have wide noses and full lips. And Asian people have slanted eyes. Why can’t we appreciate and laugh at our cultural differences. People so touchy these days.

Halle Berry’s baby is still in the womb and has already become the target of racism. The actress has reportedly hired security guards because of racist threats to her unborn baby from an “anonymous sicko,” according to the Daily Mirror.

The star has received letters at her LA home, one saying that she and her child would be “cut into hundreds of pieces”.

Halle, 41, is expecting her first child in the spring with Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. A source close to the actress said: “Halle does not normally use security but she has taken on a couple of guys to make sure.” Police are investigating the threats.
