I just peeped a photo of Jennifer Beals attending the Season 5 premiere party for Showtime’s “The L Word,” on which she stars. Made me a little nostalgic for her “Flashdance” days. (What a feeelin’!) Member when Black folks felt snubbed by her back in the day because she chose not to identify with her Black heritage? (”I’m not Black and I’m not White,” she said.) Well, good for her, makin’ it work somewhere in the middle.
