Rapper/actor David Banner, who ya just saw on screen in “This Christmas” has been cast to play the role of iconic beatboxer Biz Markie in the upcoming indie “The Vapors.” When reports surfaced that Keke Palmer would play Roxanne Shante in the flick, which is all about the legendary Juice Crew, I was stumped thinking about who could take on Biz. Now Banner is much cuter, but he’s not a bad choice, ya think? Other cast members include Cuba Gooding, Jr. as Marley Marl and fine-behind Idris Elba as Fly Ty. Yowza! Can’t wait to see this one.
