The African American community loves to see other african americans suffer. That is why all of this gossip is so great for them. Its sad to say but it is the truth. Tischa Martin Campbell was right, you dont see Matt Damon or Ben Afleck going through any of the things or rumours that the african american celebrities go through. Because they stick together. We should do the same. Im the type of person, that I dont believe anything I hear about a celebrity until I see it for myself, with my own eyes.

When you don’t have a clear identity for yourself, it is almost mandatory to live outside someone elses world. All of these celebrities are people and when we loose site of that we are all in trouble. The only expectation that we should have of them is that they get paid for their work. And by the way, many of them have excellent work ethics. What they do in their personal lives should not be attached to the television. Don’t get it twisted, turn off the tube some times, its purpose is for entertainment.

I agree that African American do spend so much time and other people business but at the same sense we are the ones buying maganizes and going online to find the info,we basically pay or contribute to the mayhem, other people of different races does the same so if nobody take a stand on not wanting to hear gossip than the people who write the stuff will continue giving it to us.

This doesn’t suprise me. Childhood girlfriend becomes wife of a NBA baller and he gets a taste of whats out there and he gone! Eddie Curry is guilty of this too and countless others! First of all I don’t completely think that black folks are smitten by the failure of these couples. When you are a celebrity and in the public view, everything you do or say is scrutinized. That just comes along with the territory. Secondly relationships are difficult period. These celebs are living in an entirely different world. They can have just about anything they want any time they want, that isn’t ‘normal’. Therefore the way they behave is different. Most of these young black men come into the money and fame before they are mentally done developing. I don’t believe that any of them should be trying to have a marriage at this point and time in their lives. Date whoever and be safe about the situation. Where they are getting things twisted is when they start getting these women pregnant and involve innocent children in their messiness. Lastly, being committed to another person is a decision. One that you must make every day that you spend with that individual. Every time you get the opportunity to see a sunrise you are presented with the option to honor the other person and your commitment to them. Personally, if I came into my fame and fortune with someone already loving me when I was broke, before the contracts and the endorsements; I would maintain that situation because the odds are that person will be down no matter what. When these brothas get paid and start meeting them Hollywood trolls, they start thinking the grass is greener when in actuality it’s just artificial turf. I ain’t saying this is always the case, but I do believe more times than not that’s what’s up. Lastly most of the things being said about Will and Jada have been rumors for years, and most rumors have some truth to them. If they are swingers that’s their business, it’s keeping them happily married.

I think it is sad that there are a lot of break ups and divorces in the black community, but in general it has nothing to do with race it has all to do with truth, for years people will allow thier feelings to sit and fester as they allow things to go on in thier live for thier preception of love, all along living a lie and allowing that lie to become thier demonstration of thier precieved self, then when truth shine thru and thier demo changes, when the light of truth changes the way they see themselves and others around all of the lie’s that were precieved to be by that one counciousness now stand for what they were just a lie and the light or the truth has to come forward. Miserable people love to “think” that everyone else is miserable too. Sad but true. Me, myself…I have no interest in what these couples are doing. Divorce happens everyday ALLLL day. So what’s the difference. Once again this is just another way of showing that most people think these celebs are above “real life” situations. Well…NEWS FLASH….they’re not. It just so happens that because of their status, their personal lives play out in the public. To all of those whose life revolves around celebs….maybe you need to get one of your own.

Ashford and Simpson is an example of our parents marriage back in the olden times. and what about Ozzie Davis and Ruby Dee, Denzel and Patricia and Sam Jackson and his wife. thank the lord those marriages still exist. 1st of all MONEY is the main reasons people are shacking up under a no good trifling person. yo would settle and u know that person aint right for you. this is all boils down to common sense. if you love a person. you stay together for over 10 years and then get married in like 12 or 14 years. get to know that person and know them in and out and then if you feel they are a perfect fit and you can grow old together. make that committment. otherwise, dont be letting nobody put you in something than you boo-hoo cause u gave them all your time and you wasted it.
