Congrats, Mami!

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony welcomed a boy and a girl into the universe this morning. According to People, their twins were born in Long Island, N.Y. The girl was born at 12:12 a.m. (5 lbs. 7 oz.), and the boy followed at 12:23 a.m. (6 lbs.). These make the first babies for Lopez, 38, and the fourth and fifth for Anthony, 39. Baby names have not yet been released.
Some say the baby pics will fetch $6 mil. Day-um!

I am very happy for Jennifer and Marc on the birth of their twins. I have read where she’s been wanting kids for a long, long time.
There is just one thing that puzzles me when most actresses have babies. Why do they feel it is necessary to “pimp” out their babies.
Why can’t they just choose a magazine they like, have them take their baby’s picture and be done with it.
Why is there a price the magazine has to pay just to show the world their newborn child? It’s not like they need the money.
