My concern is not with PETA and their stupid comments, but I do think that her days are getting shorter. I think that she is going die just like our other Black Stars who were struggling with their weight. Unless she changes her habits, she is going to have a stroke or heart attack. It would not surprise me if she has a stroke or dies within the next five years. PETA members are a group that normally and generally cares about pets and are just as active in human rights as well. Visit their real website and then comment. People are free to wear what they like. It is a free country. Just because it is a free country doesn’t mean that everything that goes on in this country is right. I am not going to say wearing animals is wrong, but the way they kill the animals and skin them alive for the sake of our fasion is cruel. I do doubt, however, that die-hard PETA activists wear leather shoes. I don’t know why that keeps coming up, but they do make environment-friendly shoes. There should be a humane way to do everything that involves the death of animals, but there is not and that is what PETA is fighting for.

Aretha is truly the Queen of the Universe. I have enjoyed her many talents as much today, as in the past. The Queen may wear whatever she chooses. PETA is a strong and wealthy organization. Preserving the rights of animals, is an easy feat. This is what most of us do everyday of our lives, we do not stop there, every living thing deserves to be protected. Animals are easy, children are more challenging and require more attention and monies. Respect, is what Aretha Franklin has, respect escape’s PETA. Please, pick up a book, read about Lincoln, Douglas, Truth/ Mother Jones, Anthony, F. D. & E. Roosevelt / Wiesenthal, King, The Kennedy Family, Chavez, NAACP and so many Elite Movers and Shakers of America!!! Just because your cause is for the proper treatment of animals does not mean that PETA needs to behave as if its organization has the BRAIN capacity of the animals. You will not stop everyone from wearing what they like. A general friendly letter though, first… stating your positive recognition for Ms Franklin, second…explaining and sending pictures of what is actually done to animals to get the fur, and thirdly… understanding that items may have already been purchased before PETA even was a thought in a person’s mind. So maybe then you could do a promotional I.D. Tag of Vintage Fur(Hey sometimes Compromise bring about the long term Progress needed or wanted).
