Darryl McDaniels, better known as DMC, spent Friday in the hospital after doctors discovered two major blood clots in his left arm, according to his website. He went to the doctor after experiencing pain and swelling in the arm. Surgery was expected Friday.

As a result he cancelled his scheduled performance at the AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament on Saturday.
