More on the sketchy break-up of Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds. Apparently, dude needs a good anger management program.
From the NY Post: Tracey Edmonds broke up with Eddie Murphy right before they were about to make their Bora Bora wedding legal because Murphy became bossy and physically intimidating, and insisted his mother accompany them on their honeymoon. “That was kind of the last straw,” said a friend of the beautiful bride. “She was happy to sign a prenup — she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared.” The friend added, “She was even willing to change her name to Tracey Murphy, and all the wedding invites and place cards had her labeled as such.”
Wonder if Mel B. is somewhere thanking God she didn’t hook up with her baby daddy?

Candy must have forgot that she has done alot of work and is a made woman and does not need Eddie Murphys money and what she did with Babyface was business she was not a kept woman but a working one.
Cany Tiffany is right. She was already producing small projects before she met Babyface (and that’s were the real money is in Hollywood). She just didn’t blow up until Soulfood. She produced the movie and series, and also does other shows for BET and HBO.
I don’t see why anyone would have a symbolic wedding and then spend more money to have a “real” wedding.
She knew what Eddie was about. I really don’t feel too sorry for her. But I don’t blame any woman for letting a man disrespect them and control them.
Certainly she can do better than Eddie with all his kids and drama.

He is not 100% with Mel B about his child, what made her think he would be 100% with her. The man is getting old and crazy.
Yeah I have to admit the woman can do better than that. But personally I lost all respect for him after this whole baby thing. I dont think he still haven’t seen that baby yet. He’s paying for her he might as well spend some time with her. And she got her own money. That company that produced Soulfood is hers. I think they are still partners in this and she also owned a record label. I dont know if its still around or not. But I know that Jon B. was one of her artist. He wasn’t on Babyface’s label. That was Tracey’s label.
She should have stayed with babyface…
In my opinion, Eddie is basically doing to much and he thinks he is much more than what he is worth. Just because he has a few dollars dont mean he can treat ppl the way he does, Him and his first wife didnt work, reason was undisclosed and now tracy dont wanna be with him. Maybe the reason could be, he is difficult cause he dont wanna really be with a woman. That’s my opinion, things that make you go hmm??

If Tracey had any class(which she doesn’t)she would never have gotten involved with a man that treats the mother of his child the way he did. Even if he didn’t think that was his child he should have had enough discretion to wait for the paternity test instead of putting her out there like a wh*re.
Eddie was trying to save face initially. He thought that being to hook up with Tracey, and showing her off was going to be like a slap in the face to his ex-wife and Mel B. Plus it seems as though he is not ready to take on a spouse that has a career that is more stable, versatile, and profitable than his. So it seems as though he was trying to break my girl Tracey down. (Self esteem). I guess him and Johnnie will start back getting close.
Babyface is the man……She should have stayed with him.

She is too pretty for a CRAZY MAN! Women let this be a lesson to us if we see the signs of unstability we should RUN like its a fire in the house. Anyway Glad she got out! Girl stay away from EDDIE FA GOOD!LOL
Can someone tell me if they read the People article that mentioned Eddie lives with his mother and JOHNNY GILL. I don’t care how good “friends” he and Johnny but to live with a male and you are 46 with money what’s up with that?

The dude is a woundlicker, a professional woundlicker now that Nicole has gotten rid of him. He will scout out woman after woman that will sit in a corner with him helping him to lick his wounds; in turn sticking it to her like no other. This is all Eddie Murphy sees now when it comes to the female population, “hold up my ego til Christ comes back”…period! What I don’t understand is Tracy…here is this beautiful intelligent sister who has got more in her head than any amount of money a brother has in his bank account. Why would she do it? The woman defended the man to no end, giving excuse after excuse to the media for this guy when he dumped his own child in the wake of a relationship with her. What made her think she would not be Mel B. in some capacity next?..she saw the man from the start. It’s the almost classic end of a woman loosing herself for what she thinks is or hopes will be a Man. She sold herself out for a run in the sand on the beaches of Bora Bora in front of the camera only to be his next victim accomplished.
