Whoever wrote this article is a fool. Everything does not always have to e a black and white thing. True, the sentences for Paris, Nicole, and Lindsey were ridiculous, with the exception of Paris, her time was pretty standard. You have to look at the nature of the crimes. And although the others were bad, the cocaine wasn’t even enough to get a sample so it would’ve been thrown out regardless, the assault charges carry a much stiffer penalty. Not to mention she has a history of not taking her punishment seriously when free. Most judges, black or white, would not have let her out. We need to stop seeing ourselves as victims and do something with the opportunities that are given to us.

Gail, The only reason I feel that racism does some how play a role in this is because Foxy is still in fact in jail. Paris, didn’t stay in jail just days and she was given several times the opportunity to get out. After her sentence she was allowed to go home for a whole month before she had to turn her self in. I don’t think this is a matter of racism. Battery and or physical assaults on others in my opinion is far worse than DUI/other traafic or road violations. She has done this on more than one occassion and she needs to be taught a lesson. Racism’s not the case, as seen in similar circumstances involving the model Naomi Campbell. The law treats violent crime different than traffic violations and nonviolent crime. That’s just the way it is. If Paris assaulted someone repeatedly, the same thing would happen. You can’t compare violent crimes to nonviolent crimes. Also, Foxxy is not anywhere near as famous as the other referenced women.

That said, I do believe there is unjustice in our socirty that causes blacks to serve more time on avg than whites for the same crime. I think this is due mostly to lack of resources, not having enough money for a good lawyer or not knowing how to go about things the right way. You really have to follow a certain protocol in the judicial system or you are screwed. I think though the unjustice is mostly because of class/income disparity and not because of race. IF you are an educated, upper-middle class black person, you will be ok in court. BUT, if you are on the poorer side and speak ebonics, you are screwed. Same with white people, if you act low-class you will also be screwed. It is all an act.

It looks like she is going to spend 1 yr in prison. I hate that. I believe the largest portion has to do with color. The reason Paris, Nicole and Lindsay were released is because the prisons in California are over crowded. This was stated all over the news. Look at Naomi Campbell, she’s gone around smacking and abusing people and all she got was community service. Foxy needed a wake up call.

Don’t get me wrong Foxy is str8 but c’mon! I guess she needs the cash and some attention, so might as well take the jail route like many of the “stars” are now - a -days.

Yes, theirs injustice, just take a look at Jena 6, and if you are not aware of Jena 6, then please Google it! I definitely agree with girlindc, as well as understand that racial injustice within the Justice/Legal system does exist. If you truly feel that theirs not, you may need to spend time researching cases.

Of course it was the money that helped the “three stooges” Not regular everyday money, these people are tremendously wealthy! Huge difference! Now, as much I like Foxy, she did do wrong. Should she be in prison? No. I would have preferred for Foxy to have had some other form of rehabilitation, such as psychological treatment at a special center or camp, and not a celebrity rehabilitation resort either! Prison is not a place for true rehabilitation, my opinion.

Also, her management reported that Foxy was not pregnant.

I really do think that she was given the star treatment over and over ,but continued to act a fool and violating her probation. The average person doesn’t get as many chances as she has gotten after violating her probation and not going to jail. I hope that she learns something from this and quit acting like a brat.

Why does anybody care about this has been.Foxy, hasn’t had a hit in who knows when. Her public outburst, seems to be the only attetion this wack broad, can get nowadays. We the public have been watching this tired tramp, self destruct for years now. Her latest legal woes, comes as no suprise to me.
