I agree, the Goldman’s are looking for a “gold-mine”, instead of closure. They need to let their son rest in peace. I believe OJ wrote the book to get the Goldman’s and the Brown’s off his back in regards to the money. I hope both parties will let it go and move on with their lives.

They say it’s not the money but every time Mr. O. J. Simpson makes money, they are trying to grab every bit of it. In reference to the Goldmans’ receiving the procedes from the book that OJ wrote is down right rediculous. They suppose to have changed the name, change the ending etc. If he wanted to get money from this tragedy that happened to his son and Nicole he should (Goldman) have written his own book in his own words. Personally, I agree to not wanting OJ to profit BUT I could not consciously take the book, rename it and make a few changes and sell it to the public. The book is about how a person “would have” killed my deceased child, that crap belongs in the garbage not on bookshelves for money. Goldman is just as warped as OJ is for writing the book if he takes the money. I could even see donating all of the proceeds to charity but he is taking home 90%…that’s nothing but greed, plain and simple.

OJ isn’t being put on a pedestal by me — trust me — and I do understand the pain and grief that involves losing a loved one. But I also say publishing this book is completely irresponsible. Yeah, it’s unfortunate that two lives were lost, but OJ has children. Why should they be subjected to the public reading a “hypothetical” account of how their father may have killed their mother? The Goldman’s should consider that over all the millions of dollars they’re owed.

OJ was not convicted of this crime. I think the money should be used to help find the real murderer. I don’t understand why he has to give those families anything at all. Don’t get me wrong I do feel sorry for their lost, however he is not the cause for their lost. At least that’s what the court system said!

I understand the argument of making your childs killer pay. But that is not what the Goldmans are doing they are trying to get paid. They got the advance OJ got from the book that was making him pay, but to go on tv a say how terrible putting this book out would be then putting it out yourself THATS GREED. The money he got wasn’t enough so someone told him he could get more if he released the book. All you Goldman supporters can not see you are being played. I look at it like this, OJ is crazy for writing the book anyway. I don’t care if he was found innocent, he killed those people. You can check history, where he used to beat his wife.I agree with Ebony, we as black people supported him because he is black. Out of all the family involved, what about the kids reading the book of how their dad would have killed their mother. Mr. Goldman is a hungry money old man.No one is thinking about the kids in this situation.

Everyone forgot that OJ has not paid the Goldmen family a dime on the civil suit. They realized that while he has no money he cant pay them. So they are doing all they can to get the money including get the book detailing how they relative and the simpson chick was murder. They are not greving they are very greedy. I can see if they trying to get money to pay for casket or funeral expenses but this is long gone and these people are looking for for Rodeo drive money. Ever since this house n***a got banished from whiteyville he has been takeing it with no grease. He made this bed and tucked himself in. Didn’t OJ get the advance already and spent it? This book is so over I would be surprised if anybody buys it. Fred Goldman needs to get on with his life. Personally I do think OJ killed those two people and got away with murder. But it seems Fred Goldman has put himself in his own jail and hell by holding on to the past. I can’t imagine he can have any kind of happiness in life if he spends his entire existence trying to make OJ pay. While Fred spends his time in court after court OJ seems to spend his time on a different court, tennis, basketball, the golf course, getting lap dances from skanky women, vacationing in the Bahamas and the like.

His pension from the NFL cant be touched and it is over $25,000 a month and counting. So if he never gets another penny he will still be financially stable. The New York Post said Fred Goldman even got an injuction to have an SUV OJ brought with some on the advance money and what did OJ do? He had the vehicle destroyed, let the insurance lapse and then report it stolen.

So Fred needs to find some other way to channel his energy. Perhaps work for some domestic violence group and give them the publicity they need. Because if he keeps it up he will be the next one they bury because of the stress and hatred that will destroy him.

So, that explains why the book has been circulating through emails. Fewer sale$ for the Gp;dmans.

I feel that the only reason the Gold Diggering Goldman’s are getting what they want is a jury of O.J.’s Peer’s found him not guilty. If he was white it will be over. Hell No! They should not have received the rights to O.J.’s book. He wrote it. “They are going to get OVER PAID!” A Friend of mine’s brother was killed by the police and the family was award $85 million by the jury and the judge over ruled the Judgement. And awarded the family $5 million. Plus it took over six years to receive the judgment. Is a white life worth more than a black life? Do you see the difference? It is as plan as “BLACK & WHITE!” PS HE HAD NO LEGS! “NONE!” The Goldman’s are not grieving! As a matter of fact they probably wasn’t even that close to their son! i agree with you this is about money nothing else why would you keep bring things up that remind you how your son died. when are they going to let it go and why is the brown’s only getting 10 percent and not half they lost a daughter so clearly they only think about themselves. i said that from day one. don’t publish that book keep his name alive in other ways.

Well I feel with publishing the book all you are doing is giving O.J. what he wants and that is for people to talk about him. He dwells on the attention. I think that it is a shame that they are taking every dime that man makes because he was found innocent and the judicial system is all jacked-up anyway. He may have committed those murders true or not, but where did things go wrong in this world that its plenty of murders right outside your door now that got away with there crime too. No one really knows who killed OJ’s ex. Greed is the root of all evil. When a man such as OJ has money, others are always seeking a handout!

In the first place, when he was found not guilty by a court of law, the whole matter should have went the wayside. They should not have been able to sue him in civil court. I mean enough already.

Because that trial made instant celebrities of all involved, so-called high profiled cases have become the norm (i.e. Duke *$~$ Case).

What should happen is that since the convicted can’t profit off their crimes, how about no one can profit off of crime? I bet we’d see how much “love” for their loved ones there would be in the world then if ALL proceeds went to charity. Just think of how that $635,000 could benefit a battered woman’s shelter.
