I truly understand Mariah’s decision. For those of you who seem to have been “sleeping” for awhile ” Every single person on earth wants kids”. Personally as a black woman I don’t want one. I can still do adult things, but I’m not an idiot and I use protection. That’s ok- I’m 47 and I made the choice not to have any kids-I have a wonderful godson, 5 nieces and one nephew- a great niece and nephew and a host of children that I can borrow and YES give back when I’m tired. I also, have a wonderful man in my life who has a son that just graduated Ohio State Univ-and hopefully he brings us grandchildren one day. A lot of women believe that your not a women without kids thats ok, because there are a lot of children out there not being taken care of etc., So sisters stop thinking that’s it’s all about mimi’s body she doesn’t want NO KIDS- RESPECT THAT:)

Bsosososo, i’m sorry but I have disagree with you. Its a lot of responibilites in raising a child. Its not being selfish. There’s nothing wrong with not having any children. I don’t have children yet, and I don’t know (yet) if want to have any. In my opinion, there’s too much craziness and sadness happening in the world for bring a child in the world. I agree with Mariah, its very hard to have children in the cruel world today. Let Mariah live the life she wants and whatever makes her happy.

i’m in no way a fan of mariah but i think if she doesn’t want kids than that’s her decision. i dont think it has to do with her messing up her body b/c she’s has the money to get her a professinal trainer to help her with that…i just truly think she know’s she is not mommy material..she’s all about her career right now.

I know people who have kids who are not even mature or responsible enough to raise them. They are messing up their children’s lives.
Give Mariah credit for at least recognizing that she doesn’t want to be a mother. She may change her mind later, but that is her business.

Having children is a personal decision and I applaud Mariah for being able to decide that children are not for her, instead of having a child and not enjoying it.
