Look who’s getting plump (and no, I’m not talking about Terius)!

Although Christina Milian and The Dream still haven’t confirmed that they are expecting a child, she definitely looked like she was trying to hide a baby bump under her orange maxi dress when the two stepped out to have dinner in Beverly Hills last night!

Rumors of a pregnancy have been circulating since the two had a surprise wedding in Vegas in early September. Just a week after the nuptials, US Weekly magazine reported that Milian was pregnant. According to their source,”the pregnancy was a surprise, but the two were getting married anyway.” Today People magazine reported that the happy couple had to postpone a concert last Friday at UC Irvine (their first appearance on stage together since they eloped) and according to the concert promoter it was due to Milian’s pregnancy.

This will be Milian’s first child, and the fourth child for The Dream who has three other children with Nivea.

I guess they’re trying to keep the baby news as quiet as their engagement and wedding but it looks like there will be another dream girl (or boy) soon!

Congrats are in order for The-Dream and Christina Milian.

The couple reportedly tied the knot the last week in Las Vegas at the “Little White Wedding Chapel.”

The drive-thru friendly marital service venue is the same place Britney Spears married Jason Alexander for like three minutes back in 2004.

Classy!

Mr. and Mrs. The-Dream exchanged vows at midnight on Friday.

TMZ says Milian rented her wedding dress for $200 (including shoes and veil) and The-Dream rented his tux for $100 (including shoes, tie and vest).

I saw some of ya’ll tweeting that he likely got the suit from Build-A-Bear. That’s not right although I laughed.

Give it up for the multi-millionaire having a recession friendly wedding. Hopefully the divorce will be handled with the same casualness.

It’s usually rude to point out someone’s recent weight gain, but one can’t help but notice that Christian Milian has been looking a little bloated lately.

We’re so used to her wearing tight, fitted clothing and showing off her flat stomach whenever she can. But lately, we’ve seen looser pieces on the singer and when she does don something tighter it hugs a bit around what looks like a new pouch in her tummy.

Either there’s a bun in that oven or somebody’s been cooking a lot of hot wings in one.

If she is pregnant, I would like to say congrats in attaining the new get rich quick scheme taking over America: Being knocked up a famous man with equally famous money.

There’s nothing wrong with doing another Bring It On movie, but hey, youth doesn’t last forever. Neither does child support, but I bet the latter option pays better.

Now if she’s not carrying The-Dream’s seed, then that’s OK, too: He can hire Christina a trainer.

Now that Christina Milian has gotten engaged to her dream man (the kind who can help her get a hit), she’s finally talking about the pending nuptials.

Christina says she and The-Dream says she wants a small ceremony.

She told Usmagazine.com:

“We don’t have plans yet — but it hasn’t [already] happened, that I can confirm. We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it’s not going to be too big.”

I’m sure closet friends include the various photographers they pay to take pictures of them. Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if Christina introduced some paparazzo as her play cousin.

And if you’re wondering, yes, The-Dream would like to give his kids with Nivea some half-brothers and sisters.

He said: “I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do.”

But those chirren will have to wait; Christina’s all about career now.

What a sad week in entertainment!  I was on my way to the Apollo Theater’s tribute to Michael Jackson on Tuesday when my Twitter account lit up with more unfortunate news: Vibe magazine had closed. The plug has also been pulled on the production of Vibe.com.

The magazine was approaching a 16-year anniversary and staff was in the middle of working on a Michael Jackson tribute issue when they got the news of the close which was effective immediately after the announcement was made.

Now according to RapRadar.com (which was started by former XXL editor Elliott Wilson, the husband of Vibe’s current Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith), the final issue will feature The-Dream and a topless Christina Milian (looking like a bootleg remake of Janet Jackson’s “Janet” album cover. I hate to see them go out like this! Wish they could’ve finished the MJ special edition issue).

In a recent interview, Quincy Jones who founded Vibe magazine in 1993, chimed in on the fold:

“I’m trying to buy my magazine back now. They just messed my magazine all up, but I’m gonna get it back. You better believe it, I’m’a take it online because print and all that stuff is over. We gotta get into the 21st century you know. Print and all that stuff is over, we gotta remember that. The Chicago Tribune, The Seattle Post Intelligencer. The Miami Herald. They’re over the same way as the record business. We have got to get into this century.”

I hope he makes good on these plans. If The Source magazine (which is currently the only large-circulation magazine focusing on hip hop and R&B on newsstands) could go through bankruptcy and emerge surely there’s some hope for a Vibe revival?

Besides lamenting the loss of the iconic music magazine that I grew up with I can’t help but be saddned that yet another publication aimed at African Americans has bitten the dust. Guess I better go renew my subscription of Essence.

Hovi Baby?

We’ve long heard rumors that Jay-Z has a secret love child but now a UK tabloid is stirring up the controversy again. As the old story goes, the 39-year-old mogul is said to have fathered a son back in 2001 with a model named Shenelle Scott (supposedly Jay paid a mill to keep his name off the birth certificate).

UK Now recently reported that: “Shenelle and her son live a quiet life in Trinidad at a $2.5 million home that Jay-Z bought for them after paternity tests revealed a positive match. It’s also thought that Shenelle, 28, brings her son to see Jay-Z in New York, where he’s based, whenever she flies there for modeling assignments.” They also say: “Beyonce…is now apparently accepting of the boy and is even said to have gone on holiday with her stepson in the South of France.” Of course Jay’s reps have always denied that there is any truth to this story, but we’ve seen him deny the truth before!

It took six months for Jay and Bey to confirm their marriage, is it possible that it’s taken him all these years to acknowledge a son?

Dream Wedding?

Terius “The Dream” Nash and Christina Milian are rumored to be jumping the broom this weekend. According to MediaTakeOut.com an “insider” said: “The Dream and Christina Milian are hosting a ’special event’ in Las Vegas on Saturday afternoon. The event, which will be attended by a dozen or so close family and friends – including Christina’s mom and The Dream’s daughter, is so super secret – that even the guests don’t know what it’s about.”

The couple initially denied and then kept quiet on their engagement, so perhaps they’re trying to tie the knot on the low as well? If the buzz is true that would be a busy weekend for the two: The Dream is up for “Best Male R&B Artist” at the BET Awards this Sunday.

Secret Diary?

Last (and most laughable to me) The Enquirer has reported that Oprah’s private diaries are missing and they’ve got “her most intimate secrets.” According to the tabloid: “The talk-show queen has confided the shocking contents of her secret journals to close pals, including the admission that she and her best pal Gayle King are more than just friends who often share the same bed” and Oprah is “terrified those disclosures could be ‘misinterpreted’ if they become public.” The story also said that Oprah has written about eating binges getting worse and even called Dr. Phil a snake.

Please! I think we can all agree that even on the off chance that this story actually had any truth to it, Oprah has enough money and power to make anything (or anyone) disappear, including a few journals. This one’s pretty far out there!

The-Dream, who looks a lot like a mix between Teddy Ruxpin and a Teddy Graham, is officially one of the shallowest people alive.

During an appearance on Angela Lee’s Lip Service radio show, The-Dream confirmed that part of the reason he ditched Nivea was over him becoming a bigger celebrity than her.

He said: 

“When you’re no longer able to have a certain type of fun with your partner and it turns into a relationship where you’re kinda like trying to get them … get a certain thing or understand something … You start to get bitter, and you don’t wanna be that. That’s what happened in my relationship when I was married. I just … I ended it. That’s when I decided to end it because I didn’t wanna take this good person and treat them a certain way based off what I was changing into.”

So when we didn’t know who graham cracker was and why he was all over Nivea’s albums it was all good, but the second his star soars past hers, she had to go.

Classy.

At least he was honest about it. Speaking of which, if being in a relationship with someone on equal footing is important, why is he with Christina Milian?

The flat top has a better show at coming back than she does. 

Most people with eyes who aren’t color blind looked at Christina Milian’s head and proceeded to laugh, laugh some more, then pray Jesus be a better dye job.

Johnta Austin, Usher, and Jermaine Durpi have said what many of us were thinking in a vlog that leaked last week. After subtly confirming to Rap Radar that Ms. Milian is in fact his girlfriend, The Dream had some words: 

Did you feel some sort of way about Johntá Austin, Jermaine Dupri, and Usher were clowning her?  

“Hmm mmm, of course I did. I called all of them. First person I called was Johntá Austin.”

What did he say?

He ain’t know she was over here with Radio Killa like that, but I’m like in any event why are y’all, Grammy winning, critically-acclaimed songwriters, gentleman— It doesn’t make any sense to do that. I didn’t get it. I really didn’t get it. That’s like me doing that. Maybe I just have an ego that’s going to make me come down off my horse to talk about you. It’s not going to happen. Even in the cross of saying anything back, everybody calling “Hey man, what you going to—” Man, I ain’t saying nothing. I’m me. I’ll say everything I want to say on the left side of Billboard charts.

Someone’s confident. Before I move forward, can I just say The Dream reminds me of the little bear on the cover of Snuggle fabric softener. With that out of the way, we can move forward…

As for the rumors Christina gave a little to get a lot, The Dream said:

“And to clear this up, ‘Oh, she f–kin’ for tracks’ and this shit, I be like these muthaf–kas must be stupid.  It’s a recession ain’t nobody got to f–k for tracks. We basically giving them away. There’s a clearance!”

It’s like reading an interview with Barack Obama, isn’t it? He’s so eloquent.

Look, The Dream may like her hairstyle, but everything ain’t for everybody. It’s her bad for looking to Barbie for her tips.

Anyone claiming to be Christina Milian’s friend that didn’t stop her from doing this to herself needs to be deleted her from phone book, taken out of her Top 8, and blocked from her Twitter.

Friends don’t let friends walk out the house looking like this. Bless her heart, too. She means so well, and tries so hard to get us all to like her.

Walking out of the house with hair that looks like it was colored with crayon is not the way to go about it.

While she’s currently on attempt #17 to convince us that she really should be singing for a living with her single, “Us Against The World,” she should be somewhere recording a diss track to her hairdresser.

Maybe her new label boss and rumored boyfriend, The-Dream can help her with that.

Some outlets are reporting that singer/actress Christina Milian and producer Dream are a new item, but … looks like photos of the two together are really from his listening Party for “The-Dream Love v. Money” at New World Stages Wednesday night in New York City. We’ll keep a close watch on these two and see if there’s anything more.
