Some of the biggest names in music will be in Washington D.C. as part of Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige and will.i.am are amongst a diverse lineup of musicians who will perform at Obama’s Jan. 18 Welcome Concert on the National Mall. Bono, Josh Groban, Garth Brooks, John Mellencamp and Shakira are also apart of the concert.

Queen Latifah, Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx and Martin Luther King III will read historic passages at the free concert, which also will be televised on HBO starting at 2 p.m. ET.

Rihanna will make good on being, well, good. 

The R&B superstar will shun skimpy outfits when she performs in Malaysia next month, the concert’s organizers said, becoming the latest international star affected by the Muslim-majority country’s strict rules on performers’ dress.

Recent concerts by Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne faced protests by conservative Muslim Malaysians over immodest clothes. Stefani eventually made what she called “a major sacrifice” at her show by donning attire that revealed little skin, reports the Associated Press.

Under government guidelines, a female performer must be covered from the top of her chest, including her shoulders, to her knees.

The organizers of a Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 were fined nearly $3,000 after the U.S. girl group was accused of flouting decency regulations.

Remember these cats? Well, Method Man and Redman certainly recall the good times they had with you in the late 90s. As a show of just how badly they wanna reacquaint with fans still listening to party starters like “Da Rockwilder” and “How High,” the weed-scented wonders are trekking across the country with the Still High Tour, a concert series that got under way last night in New York City. Meth and Red are also prepping their new album, Blackout 2, for a December release.

Mary J. Blige and Robin Thicke are coming to Atlanta over the weekend. Though involved parties won’t blame the pissy economy outright, it’s safe to say show promoter Live Nation hasn’t been terribly thrilled with ticket sales. Things got so rough this morning it was selling seats in portions of Lakewood Amphitheatre for 50% off the original costs. No word yet on if the one-day clearance sale was a success or not. All we really know is that if MJB is having trouble filling arenas, heaven help everybody else out there on their music grind.
