Jermaine Dupri, President of Island Records, Urban Division, has gotten canned.

No word yet on why he was fired, but allhiphop.com is reporting that his job is over immediately.
Among other highlights, JD helped to revive the career of Mariah Carey, who came back big tme with her 2005 effort, The Emancipation of Mimi.
