They say everything that’s done in the dark comes to light so it’s only right that Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade step out into the sun regardless of what the “evil bloggers” and even nastier blog readers have to say about it.

The two were caught hitting Miami Beach for a swim before Wade’s game in Miami that night.

Previously Dwyane’s publicist would be blocking shots of the two paired up no doubt ducking what’s been harsh criticism of the two considering Dwyane is still legally married to his wife.

The wife in question, Siovaughn Wade has accused Dwyane of being a dead beat dad in the past. That’s a horrible accusation for a celebrity endorser of Dwyane’s caliber, but according to a recent New York Times piece, it doesn’t seem to be a big issue anymore.

On handling rumors and sponsorship, Wade told the paper:

“I’ve dealt with my own personal issues, and my sponsors have been on board with me the whole time,” Mr. Wade said in an interview. “They understand that we’re in the limelight and there are some things that are going to come up to be negative, some positive.”

And while some stars fall, some have tussles just like regular people do — and for the most part, as long as consumers support them, so will their sponsors.

Gabrielle Union has always had a sordid relationship with the blogosphere.

Basically: She can’t stand most of the blogs out there.

Considering she’s often the subject of seedy gossip, I suppose I can understand why she’s become that way. Still, outside of your occasional diatribe about the big bad bloggers, Gabby usually pokes fun at what’s said about her and keeps it moving.

Until recently anyway. Some random woman who didn’t confirm her identity nor offered any proof of her accusations sent a letter around the web branding Gabrielle Union a noted husband stealer who tried to get it in with her Mr.

The letter didn’t get much traction on the internet minus one site that kept the letter up after it was largely discredited.

The actress has since sued that blog.

Speaking with Sister 2 Sister magazine, Gabby explains that she’s filed the suit to make a point.

Gabrielle Union has made it painfully clear that she’s not a fan of the black blogosphere before.

Although she’s written off many posts written about her in the past as nothing more than lies, she’s now going one step further by suing blogs.

TMZ reports that Gabrielle Union has threatened to sue a blog over a letter they posted in which a woman claims that she’s always turned a blind eye to talk that Gabby was into stealing people’s husbands, but had to speak on it now after the actress tried to get at her guy.

The site says they received the letter from a “nameless pro-athlete’s wife” and published it because in their eyes “it seemed too real.” 

Apparently Gabby’s lawyers want the letter taken down, a retraction placed on the site, and an apology letter sent to her or else. 

I guess.

I’m not sure if this is what they call funny, but … remember all those pesky is-she-or-isn’t-she-preggers rumors about Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade?

Turns out, his teammates may have been pulling a fast one on us. And them.

The rumors came after The Chicago SunTimes made a declaration on April 7th saying, that “NBA star Dwyane Wade is telling pals he and girlfriend Gabrielle Union are expecting their first child together.” The paper later retracted it saying, “maybe a few of Dwyane Wade’s teammates were pulling a belated April’s Fool joke on him, but Wade’s Chicago-based sports agent Henry I. Thomas insists there’s no truth to stories circulating about the NBA star telling people Gabrielle Union is expecting his baby.”

Haha? Not so much.

So the rumor mill is buzzing with the news that a Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade baby is on the way. Mediatakeout is sending everyone into a tailspin with this one, saying that the hoops star and the starlet are with child. According to the gossip site, Wade was overheard bragging to a teammate that the actress will make a good mother. He added that he’s “happy to be making a family” with Union.

We’ll wait with baited breath for the official announcement if this is true.

In light of tonight’s final presidential debate, let’s play a quick game: If you could only vote for one rumored relationship ever really working out -Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union or the looong-talked-about “friendship” between tennis giant Serena Williams and actor/rapper Common- which would you choose?

While Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade’s ex-teammate Shaquille O’Neal and
wife Shaunie have been able to work out their marital troubles – at least to the
point of Shaq not pursuing the divorce he previously filed for – the same can’t
be said for D-Wade and his high school sweetheart Siovaughn, pictured here in presumably
happier times.

Now that practice is underway for the upcoming NBA season, D-Wade wants to keep
his comments to the media to the basketball court. But us bloggers want to talk
divorce court. He’s not having it.

“I keep my personal life my personal life,” he told The Associated Press.
“You try to keep it as private as you can. When things leak out, it’s
not always the truth. Some is. All you can do is continue being who you are. A lot
of things have come out about me, and people are going to think what they want to
think. But at the end of the day, no one knows what’s happened in my life
to get to the point where me and my wife, our family, not being together.”

The AP reports that the divorce process for the couple, which has two children (ka-ching
to Siovaughn!), began late last year.

“When the time comes, I will make one statement and that’s it. Like
anyone else, I want my privacy respected.”

Dwyane got married too young and his marriage was destined to fail. It’s too
hard for these guys to come into the league and suddenly have beautiful groupies
throwing themselves at them as they travel around the country without their wives.
Young guys can’t resist that temptation. Well, neither can a lot of old ones.
Siovaughn had to beat the groupies off her man, who has been linked most often to
Gabrielle Union, but also Star Jones (yeah, we laughed at that one too), Kelly Rowland
and most recently Vanessa Simmons. Those rumors should be the least of his worries.

He’s also dealing with courts on another matter, a failed restaurant deal.
Wade agreed to have his name and likeness used at three restaurants in South Florida
and says he never invested any money in the businesses, yet when they failed even
though he tried to fulfill his end of the deal by making appearances he was sued
by the people who approached him about the project for $25 million. Wade is countersuing.

“Let people say what they want to say about me,” Wade said. “I
hear it. I get mad about it. But it doesn’t get me down. It adds fuel to the
fire.”

Sounds like the Heat is definitely on Dwyane.
